Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah has rewarded two brilliant students with a scholarship package.
The students were awarded the scholarships, during a "JOB Summit" organized by the Chief of Staff, and aimed at showcasing some major social interventions by President John Dramani Mahama, particularly in the area of infrastructure development.
The two, Osei Twene Kwame and Boakye Yeboah David Henry, are both final year students at the St. James Seminary Senior High School (SHS).
They made significant and insightful contributions on how the Ghana Education Service could help in building the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth.
Mr. Debrah used the occasion to highlight some initiatives by the government to create enabling environment to strengthen businesses in the private sector.
The summit saw in attendance students from various tertiary and professional institutions, second-cycle schools and other youth groups.
They were taken through the 2016 Manifesto of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The students called for an immediate review of the existing school curricula to develop entrepreneurial skills among them.
They further stressed that there should be an inculcation of a strong financial discipline in students.
JOB Summit
The "JOB Summit" is an innovation adopted by the Chief of Staff as part of the NDC's campaign strategy to encourage the youth to believe in the President's vision.
The maiden event climaxed a six-day campaign tour of the Brong Ahafo region by the Chief of Staff.
It will be replicated in all regional capitals across the country.

What is the criteria for the selection of the two for the scholarship? It it bcos they appeared on an NDC campaign event? B0gus govt with arbitrary decision making...
Just look at the students...they are aware of ndc's desperation...its obvious they aren't interested in whatever was happening...shame on you juilis hippopotamus face debrah
You could see from the faces of the students that they are not enthused and it's like Julius Debrah was lying for votes, but lie,lie these students are not babies they are young adults who can reason for themselves. You can see from their faces depicting I know where to send my vote. Show casing them when their parents can't pay light bills? Can't eat 3 sq meals a day? When their parents businesses have collapsed because of incompetent government? You joking ! Thank God none of the students have a smiling face. That shows a bad government even kids don't like, starve them for 8 years and come to their aid in election time when the people have rejected you hahahahaha ! This shows how desperate this government is and how they love power more than working, they so power drunk they will do whatever but it's too late,Ghanaians have made up their minds already and are waiting for the day. Nothing will save ndc,Ghanaians are fed up and can't take you any more.
Of course it is a campaign strategy because 8 good years of NDC in governance nothing like this has happened
in election year everything is possible for mahama. salaries were not paid, people were made to sleep in darkness , people lost jobs because mahama said the government is able to afford basic needs for the citizens but all of a sudden mahama is going round spending huge state monies just to win elections. what a wi c k ed president
