Presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP,) Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, is asking the people of the three northern regions - Upper East and West and the Northern region to call president John Dramani Mahama and their representatives at Ghana’s Parliament home for woefully failing them.
Speaking at a rally in Navrongo in the Upper East region, Dr. Nduom, said that Ghana in her current state needs help and it is only the PPP that can provide it.
He told the people that the region is the second poorest region in Ghana despite the numerous resources nature has put there. He recognized that the fact that the people there are hardworking people but that poor leadership by the incumbent NDC administration has not brought them any help.
“If you vote for someone for four years and he is unable to deliver, you retire him. If they give you money, take it and Insha Allah vote against them,” he charged.
Dr. Nduom added that all the three northern regions have bad roads, deprived or no schools at all, no potable water in most parts and lack jobs therefore should vote for change and and bring in a PPP administration.
“Bring your current MPs (Members of Parliament) home. Mahama should go home, he has failed you. Vote for Papa Kwesi Nduom to be president. I have the track record you can count on for accelerated development and jobs, jobs, jobs. Your MPs and the president have done nothing for you to deserve another four years.”
…All over the world change is happening. Same should happen in Ghana. Today, a man who nobody thought would be president has been elected in America. Same has happened in countries such as Benin. I will be next and people will be shocked. Help make that happen,” he charged the people.
The PPP leader said President Mahama's promise to create 3 million jobs if he is re elected is a sign of desperation saying he [President Mahama] has been in government for almost eight years and if he could bring jobs the signs would have been evident by now.
He warned that four more years for President Mahama will bring untold hardships.
Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP,) Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Adddo was not spared either.
Dr. Nduom wondered where he had been all these years that he is now seeing that a factory could be sent to each district.
Dr. Nduom has been on a four-day tour of the three northern regions.
He has held several rallies in most of the constituencies in the three regions and has met with traditional leaders who received him well and assured him of the support of the gods.
Dr. Nduom is expected to round of his campaign today and move to the Central region for a rally on Saturday in Mankessim.

I am voting for Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom because he is very practical. He talks lot of sense. Gradually PPP will become a strong third force in Ghana politics, that will help ease the political acrimony between NPP and NDC.
YOU RUN AWAY FROM CPP BECAUSE YOU COULD NOT STAND THE DEMEANOR OF SAMIRE NKRUMAH THE CHAIRMAN OF YOUR CPP PARTY AND YOU ARE BEHAVING LIKE A SPOILT CHILD TO INSULT YOUR SITTING PRESIDENT AND WANT TO TAKE OVER HIS POSITION . SIMPLE ELECTORAL FORMS DRIBBLED YOU SO DISGRACEFULLY THAT YOU COULD UNDERSTAND. THE ELECTIONS ARE WON BY THOSE WHO PRESENT THEIR IDEAS BY INFORMING AND NOT INSULTING THE PRESIDENT.
AKUFO ADDO THE LEADER GHANA NEEDS. Many Ghanaians say laws in Ghana do NOT work because if you are somebody in a society and commit a crime you can go untouched but if you are poor in society the laws of the land can hook you. This man Akufo Addo has been tested and approved to be law abiding son of the land. Luckily enough he chose two careers in his entire life which are LAW AND POLITICS, these have made Ghanaians to assess him as a person. Looking at what is happening in his party and the way he has handled the situation makes one to believe that he understands fully the rule of law, he made the appropriate quarters dealt with the case and suspended the culprits although he is the flag bearer. Again Gitmo 2 detainee saga. This shows that if he becomes president of Ghana the systems of law and politics would be allowed to work for the betterment of the citizens unlike the present govt. that someone goes contrary to the law somewhere and will be posted to the presidency to cover up the wrong doing because of elections. Everyone has a dream and the one who keeps his/her dreams for longer time learns much about the dreams and can execute them very well. This is the man Nana Akufo-Addo. Despite all names/malign that the opponent has tagged him of he has never responded to even one, what a man with a BIG heart! Ghanaians MUST give Nana Addo the opportunity to exhibit his God-given talent for the benefit of mother Ghana. GHANA ARISE 4 CHANGE !
He claimed he was an American when it comes to paying tax. He thinks he is a Thrump? Whose anger? We are are angry that you insult the president of Ghana because you think you are rich. You can only get NPP votes You job is to reduce NDC votes in Central region and Volta but you will fail
Is it the EC or NCCE which always admonishes the electorate to VOTE WISELY? What a profound statement! Methink anyone who permanently belongs to a particular political party cannot call himself or herself a wise voter. The floating voter is the right person. He or she takes so many things into account before voting. In this year's elections, my interviews show that many people would wish to vote for Dr. Papa K. Nduom. Their only worry is "even if I vote for him, he will not win." Wow! But who has succeeded in convincing everybody with this obviously not well thought-out argument? We win elections with votes. Don't we? Alright, the wise voter will say even if he will not win, he is my preferred choice because of job creation, for example. Or you hardly hear any negative comments from him. He is a man of peace. Are these not enough? Remember NDC and NPP don't want any other party to compete with them. You can silence them to become humble with your votes for Dr. Nduom. Look at Parliament. Don't we need another group of MPs whose voices in parliament will give Ghanaians a fairer idea of issues being debated in the house in order to pass better laws? Think about these before voting.
