The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has declared a 21-day fasting and prayers for its members across the country, beginning this Wednesday, November 16 to Wednesday, December 7 (the election day).
The programme, dubbed ‘The Battle Is The Lord’s: Declaration Towards Victory and Peace of Ghana,’ would commence with a candlelight vigil and prayer service at the Koforidua Jackson Park in the Eastern Region, after which the party would be holding daily night prayers in all its offices in the region and throughout the country.
“We have completed all the arrangements and several pastors from the Eastern Region would be joining us on Wednesday night at the Jackson Park. Several gospel musicians would be joining us and Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah of the Glorious Word Ministry would come all over from Accra to officiate the prayer service. Fortunately , Nana Addo himself would be joining us on Wednesday to pray and fast with us and we are inviting all peace-loving Ghanaians to join us in Koforidua this Wednesday for the event,” coordinator of the event, Jeff Konadu, told DAILY GUIDE.
The event is being put together by the Eastern Regional branch of the NPP.
“We are doing our part as humans and it is our solid belief that Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP shall win the December 7 polls; but we believe in God and it is important to pray to God. Indeed, we are very proud that we would be embarking on this physical exercise that has spiritual implications,” Jeff Konadu added.

Npp can even eat a full sack of salt they will still lose
It is good to work with Christ and you will never lack anything God be with you. He that has started with you will finish with you. Amen
Let all the anti-christs mock God and the NPP. At the end of the day, we shall see who is mighty - whether the God of heaven who created everything, or the anti-christs in Ghana who are mocking us for our belief in the Almighty Jehovah. I shall be joining and I will entreat all NPP members to join. If you want to know the power of fasting and prayers, ask our Moslem brothers. So the likes of Kofi Twum, Kwasi Emmanuel and your irk, continue to mock God. I only pray that God will change your hardened heart for you to shed your political blindness and know that God is God and that he cannot be mocked.
Yes one of the prayer topic should be this the Bible said that "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me" (LUKE 19:27 KJV) let us all pray in agreement: who are the enemies!! the laries, the ghost names the foreigners names on the register and anybody who has been assign to perform anything that is contrary to the electoral reform are the enemies, we will first pray that God forgive them for their evil plans, they desired to execute their evil plans them they face the rough of God
Eeeiiii NPP need a lot to do they should even add 1000 days to fast they will not win this year election. NPP will come back on 2028. vote NDC vote peace. vote NDC vote freedom. J M toaso
desperation is a tough pill. The NPP knows about God and prayer yet they spent millions importing thugs from South Africa to set the country on fire. Now you have chosen to recruit The Lord to your side. The NDC got God long ago and only He will ordain someone come Dec 7. Recruiting pastors of doom to make unreasonable claims of assassination attempts will not get you votes.
Jokers. If you think the battle is the Lord's the the bible says stand still and ye shall see the salvation of the Lord. This is a clear indication that you are anxious and not sure of your victory.
That is a good one. If we believe the battle is the Lord's, this act is a clear indication of it. Kudos to the planners. For advise is that after the victory is won we shall hold similar programs to THANK GOD like the Samaritan leper did in Luke 17:11-19. Thanks
