President John Dramani Mahama has said his government has made good progress despite the many challenges it has faced.
Speaking at a presidential debate organised by the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in Accra on Wednesday 30 November, Mr Mahama noted that Ghana’s prospects were bright.
“We have been through challenges and we have risen up to the challenges together. We’ve made sacrifices. We were confronted with the situation of an unstable economy, power crisis, crumbling infrastructure [but] over these four years we have together, as Ghanaians, faced these challenges and I must say that we have made good progress,” he stated.
“There is a general consensus that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Everybody, including our international partners, believes that Ghana’s growth prospects are very bright and I want to say that change can be very exciting, but it’s often the easy solution; staying focused is more important.”
Mr Mahama is seeking re-election in the December 7 election.

Yes you have made progress but at what expense? You have enriched yourself and your family such that you can now give bribes to Akua Donkor, Odike and even Bugri Naabu. Yes you have made progress by buying Ameri and even trying to lease VRA's T3 to Ameri. You have made lots of progress by being behind Early Power and Ghana Power Generating Company to take VRA lands and generate power to crowd out VRA Thermal operations so you can turn around and sell to yourselves. Yes You have made progress by making only Quantum Petroleum to receive 50% of all the domestic gas produced by Ghana Gas and the remaining 50% stored in their tanks to be sold to third parties. Oh yes you have made progress by making life unbearable to the common Ghanaian. JDM TWA SO.
FOR YOURSELF ,FAMILY AND FRIENDS. NOT EVEN ALL YOUR NDC ARE FEELING IT. GET A LIFE.
