Head Apostle of the Freedom Chapel International Apostle Francis Amoako Atta has blamed President John Dramani Mahama defeat in the December 7 election to the ruling party’s “arrogance and disrespect” to the clergy.
According to him, Bible history has it that, anytime authority disrespect the clergy who are representatives of God on earth God punish them by taking away power from them as God did to King Saul.
Mr. Akufo becomes the next President of the country after his party, the New Patriotic Party emerged winners in the just ended elections with over 53 percent of the votes.
The three-time lucky NPP leader polled 5,716,026 to beat incumbent President John Mahama who had 4,713, 277 Electoral Commission Chairperson, Charlotte Osei announced Friday evening.
Members of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) have since accepted the results and have vowed to work hard to return the party to power.
But Apostle Amoako-Ataa in an interview with Adom News Sunday said, God does not tolerate arrogant government or leadership.
He said even though President Mahama was embarking on massive infrastructural developments, God has rejected him because of arrogance on the clergy.

I agree with Apostle Amoako Atta though that was not the issue that led the JDM shipping down below Sea Ghana
You are very correct Apostle. Koku Anyidoho was specifically assigned to insult the Clergy as part of his job description and they have paid dearly for it. He has since vamoosed into the thin air.
The least they expected thinking their job was permanent, next time they will lwarn to respect elders. they will stay in opposition forever. change is all we needed and we prayed over it. the battle is still the Lords
