The Ashanti regional campaign team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has indicated that they owe no supporter apologies for failing to deliver victory to the party.
The team headed by Deputy Regional Minister Andy Osei Okrah was tasked to deliver 1 million presidential votes and 13 parliamentary seats for the party.
It however failed to gain forty percent (40%0 of the target and lost two of its four seats held in the region. Angry party supporters, who locked up some party offices, are demanding that the campaign team takes the fall for the party’s defeat. But a member of the team and Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Asokore Mampong Municipal Assembly Nurudeen Hamidan disagrees and insists the party failed as a unit and must take stock of its failure together.
“We are all members of the party and went into an election and lost. We must therefore share the blame and work together to resolve the cause of the defeat. If they want us to apologise because we lost who should we apologize to. The party is not a human being so I will take this opportunity to advise our people to be careful. Elections come with two results, you either win or lose”, he said.
In a related development, Out-going deputy minister for the interior and also MP for Builsa North James Agalga says the incoming government should expect to be put on their toes by the minority in parliament when the new session begins.
Speaking to Ultimate news, Mr Agalga made it clear that, the NDC in opposition will ensure that the Nana Addo’s government is reminded of it promises to the masses which gave them the mandate.
According to him, they will not be a silent minority but a vociferous one which will push for the right things to be done.

Oh, I don't understand this politicians. If you make sure the reigning government keep its promise are you not indirectly helping that party win party again. If the party achieves its target definitely Ghanaians would vote for them again. NDC see you in 20 years.
You can say that again. You are on point!
Atuobi, you can say that again. I watched the video and I said like seriously? I laaf aaa enter my kitchen.
That will be so beautiful but first they must check the quality of their people against that of the majority. I hope that this time there are no trees under schools and misenfranchise among those going to the parliament.
These guys are still using the sharp teeth to bite again and again. instead of having a nice words to tell these aggrieved persons in your party. u are telling them that you owe them no apology and that is sharp teeth that bite. Remember these are the same people you would approach to vote for in 2020. don't start filing and accumulating these unwelcomed words. You have the right to remain silent but remember whatever you say may be used against you in court come 2020. God Ghana.
HON AGALIGA DO YOU(NDC) KNOW GOOD THINGS WHEN WE BROUGHT NHIS BILL TO PARLIAMENT NDC STAGE A WALK OUT INCLUDING THE CURRENT PREZ WHEN HE WAS IN PARLIAMENT. AS FOR THE GOOD POLICIES WWE WILL INITIATE THEM IF YOU DECIDE TO WALK OUT WE WILL DO IT FOR GHANAIANS. ENJOY YOUR OPPOSITION IN THE MEAN TIME AND STOP PROPAGANDA.
My dear ask again ooo, they wanted to use some fishy ways to rig it but who jah bless no one cares. You people should continue talking this way and 2020 u wont even get 5seats at parliament and u will get 20.82 for presidential, NDC will forever stay in opposition
But seriously, how come the EC software and that of NDC IT software break down simultaneously ? were they connected somehow ?
Even when ndc was loosing the election, they were still doing propaganda that they were in the lead with wide gab.See how they confused the president to wear white with his white handkerchief and looking disgraceful like a ***barred word***.
Look at this one too. which side of the bed did he sleep. Keep who on the toes. He couldn't understand the bogus Woyome financial engineering and now he wishes to keep Databank Ken on his toes. Does he even know what a Prime Index Ratio(PIR)is. Obviously James doesn't know what time it is.
