Former General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr Nii Armah Josiah Aryeh has passed on, 3news.com has gathered. The law lecturer passed on Monday night at the 37 Military, where he has been on admission for the past two weeks.
The rock-solid author is said to have been battling illness in the past weeks. Dr Aryeh made the headlines in 2004, when he was suspended by the NDC for allegations of bribery and connivance with the then ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). But he later revived his party political career in 2012 as the National Chairman of the Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings’ National Democratic Party (NDP).
He was also one of the few politicians of the opposite divide to visit now President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to congratulate him after he accepted the decision of the Supreme Court in August, 2013.

Ghana has again lost a great man.may his soul rest in perfect peace.
Such a rogue and erroneous character.may we as a human race never see his likes again under this sun.this ***barred word*** surely is in hell already.
I liked Dr. Ayeh for his brilliance and eloquence, but not his association with the NDC. May his soul rest in peace.
God forgive you for what you just wrote.
Your f a th er and the entire fa mil y is next
Josiah Aryeh was the best lecturer at the Law Faculty, UG and am glad he taught me. During our students days at Legon, this man always mesmerized us during tutorials with his eloquence and sheer knowledge of the law. It was common knowledge amongst the students that he was simply the best. May his soul rest peace.
Rest in Peace Josieh, you were one of the most eloquent General secretaries. Farewell.
Nana is next.
RIP. A true patriot though you later betrayed your believes. Goodbye
DR YOU ARE A GOOD MAN .MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE.
