Without priorities, one is unable to identify powerful action steps to move one’s initiatives forward each day and this was one critical area that let the John Mahama administration down, a staunch member of the New Patriotic Party has observed.
The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiko, tells Peacefmonline.com that the outgoing president surrounded himself with a team that were always economical with the truth and never fed him with ideas that could transform Ghana’s economy.
According to the NPP Chair, the bad handling of President Mahama by his team and family members made him set “infrastructure priorities” with the sole aim of “inflating contract figures to satisfy his selfish needs”.
Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiko who is also known as Chairman Wontumi added that when you consider most of the infrastructure built by the outgoing president, it tells a story that President Mahama didn’t know how poor the economy under him had become and how he made Ghanaians suffer on daily basis.
“Take a look at when he decided to renovate the Kotokuraba market. It wasn’t needed and a lost priority. He could have used the money to build a market up north for his own people to get money.”
“He claims to be a true son from the north and constantly brags the region is fortunate to have him lead the nation but can anyone tell me the significant thing he did for them?
He didn’t even care about them and I wonder if he feels good about the legacy he has left?”
Aside this, Chairman Wontumi explained that President Mahama’s decision to improve Kumasi Central & Kejetia Market is another classical example of the lost priorities.
He stated that “after insulting Ashantis and calling us ingrates, you don’t expect us to welcome you with open arms and vote for you and your party during an election”.

Do you know that when companies decide to invest in a country or do business in a country, one of the indicators/factors they consider is 'infrastructure'? Do you know that where the logistics indicators (usually tied to ease of movement-roads, ports, railways etc), internet penetration, hospitals (a healthy man....a healthy nation), universities/schools (literacy rates) etc etc etc. Do you also know that tourism goes with infrastructure? and eventually all this are linked with economic and human development? As a developing country we cannot develop without proactive investments in infrastructure. Most Asian countries are developing based on investments in infrastructure among other investments.I think Mahama did so well.I was an ACCRA boy...New Town, Circle, Ridge, etc. Nkrumah Circle and Ridge hospital used to be an eyesore. Have you you or any of your relative ever been admitted to Ridge hospital before? Um....As a child I used to walk from home to school through Circle, an even at that time when I was just a kid, I used to ask myself if there was no other better way for designing Circle to make it look not only beautiful but efficient in terms of ease of traffic. Several governments turned blind eye on this 'bottleneck' until Mahama came. I trust Mahama. I will have wished he continue with this infrastructure development. We need the schools, roads, hospitals, housing, bridges, rails, harbors, water, electricity, nice neighborhoods, etc,
)DAASE, KURASE NI A WONP3 INFRASTRUCTURE
Look whose talking of priorities.......Why can't NPP get it that solving an issue doesn't come with just one means to the solution. You may chose to start solving from down whiles someone chooses from the side, another form the top. Mahama had his priorities as get ting the infrastructure in place which could have tackle the many some issue placing those projects in their proper context or perspective. You have the power now, why not concentrate on solving the many problems you claim to have identified..... Just remember your election now is not a life time guarantee......Just as Mahama had a mis-priority, if you contunue this way...just as the babies with sharp teeth did for the NDC, trust me you'll be next.
Look at this Asante foo000000l.
Look at this Asante ***barred word***.
THE ANT ONLY FINDS ITS WAY THROUGH, WHEN THERE ARE CRACKS ON THE WALL..... OTHERWISE WHAT DOES THIS D.I.MWIT KNOW ABOUT PRIORITIES???? BUT ALL BECAUSE SOME BLOCKHEADED VILLAGE FOLKS DECIDED TO VOTE WITHOUT THEIR HEADS.... AND THIS WILL USHER IN AKUFO ADDO AS A DE FACTO PRESIDENT....THOUGH... BECAUSE THE FALL OUTS OF THE POLLS ARE THAT,,, MAJORITY OF THE ELECTORATE CONSIDERED HIM A PARIAH... AND FOR THE FACT THAT THEIR VOTES COULD SWING THE TIDE IN FAVOR OF THE RULING PARTY,,, DECIDED TO REMAIN AT HOME FOR REASONS BEST KNOWN TO THEM... YET,, THE AFTER SHOCKS INDICATED THAT,,, THERE HAS BEEN SERIOUS REMORSE AS A RESULT OF THE APATHY.... BUT AS RELIGIOUS PEOPLE,,, WHETHER GOOD OR BAD,, WE LEAVE IT TO GOD. BECAUSE HE KNOWS BEST.... AND THAT IS NOT TO MEAN THAT IT IS ALL GOOD,, WITH THESE SCAVENGERS IN GOVERNMENT... IMAGINING THE DUBIOUS CHARACTERS LIKE AKUFO ADDO AND OSAFO MARFO WHO CONNIVED AND SOLD THE DRILL SHIP,,, AND DESECRATED THE FOREIGN MINISTRY AND EVENTUALLY RAISING IT IN AN INFERNO,,,, WHICH HAD LET THE MISERABLE STRUCTURE STILL STANDING AS EVIDENCE TODAY..... ONCE AGAIN,,, THE BACKWARD VILLAGE FOLKS HAS ELECTED THEM INTO POWER,,, WHILE THE REASONABLE THINKERS STOOD ALOOF TO WATCH IT HAPPEN... AND SOME SAID GHANA HAS WON????
Massa we need more infrastructure projects than what mahama did. If you fail to provide proper infrastructure we will vote against Nana. We need a strong cedi, and a change of constitution to make our leaders responsible. Let's change the constitution, leaders must not Ride in land cruisers whilst the tax payer struggles to buy food.
I am speechless. In a short while Mahama will be GOD in Ghana with such twerps at the help of affairs.
