The Chief of Staff, Mrs. Frema Opare, has come under barrage of criticisms from some concerned group in the Ashanti Region following her letter instructing the Inspector General of Police to arrest and prosecute members of the NPP allegedly seizing public properties.
The group contends that it was needless on the part of the Chief of Staff to have issued such statement which they argued was not within her domain.
They have therefore warned her not to step foot in the region should the police carry through her instructions and effect arrest of any supporter of the party.
"Mrs. Frema Opare should consider herself out of any government activity in the region should any member of the party be arrested," they cautioned.
According to the group in a statement issued and signed by its spokesperson, Prince Adjei Mensah, the action of the Chief of Staff does not come as a surprise since her contribution to the NPP's success is in serious doubt.
"We know Mrs. Frema Opare didn't take part in any of the campaign activities neither did she contribute to the strenuous efforts made by footsoldiers in ensuring victory for the party," the group observed.

ALL MUST BE LAW ABIDING. NO ONE SHOULD TAKE THE LAW INTO HIS HANDS. BUT THE NDC BOYS AND RASCALS MUST BE CAREFUL TO ISSUE SUCH STATEMENTS. YES IT COMES FROM THE NDC TO CREATE THE IMPRESSION THAT IT IS THE NPP THAT IS RAISING THE RED FLAG. WE KNOW THEIR PROPAGANDA
This group and its leadership should be careful. The 5.7 plus people who voted for Nana Addo are not all typical NPP supporters.People like you are few on the party. Please, we should not do the things ndc did which affected them badly into opposition. What has Fremah Opare done? Genuine npp supporters are law abiding. Please, stop this lawlessness. Whatever is lawful for Nana to do shall be executed to the letter. We have not less than 16years to rule. If the ndc is behind you guys then change because those of us with genuine intentions are not in support of these seizures.Change has come!!!!
NDC SUPPORTTERS CANNOT CONTINUE TO HOLD THE PUBLIC TOILETS. NPP SHOULD GIVE JOBS TO THEIR SUPPORTERS.THESE ARE THE JOBS FOR THE ILLITERATE SUPPORTERS OF NPP
They have started. this is how they are. only time will tell. Ghanaians will regret
You guys shd stop this childish threats. We are all here in ksi n if this Prince Mensah n his guys misbehave, we ll mobilise people n arrest them n hand them over to the police. We even don't know you in our party.
Adjei Mensa, it is too early to issue such warnings to appointed ministers. So what do you think will happen if all NPP members who voted for the president move out to seize properties? Why dont you advice members involved in such acts to stop? Please we need law and order, so rather advice your people to stop those disgrace practices.
We need law and order. Let cool heads prevail.
this guys given orders to the chief of staff is total rub.bish we all contributed what we can for the npp to win and fixed the economy for us its not in our position to be lawlessness so pls if u dont have anything to do just ***barred word*** and let her do her job. Let the President govern by the rule of law bcos thats what he stand for all this while
So called concerned group, you can go to hell or better still you can go and set fire to the Atlantic Ocean. Who authorized you to sized property. The fact that you voted for the NPP does not make you gods. I will be very excited if the police will apprehend you and throw into prison to teach some civilized lessons. Offui.
NDC guys you know the game some jobs were taken over by your foot soldiers in 2009 till date so stop complaining, but I don't subscribe to violence or with force this time but we will surely take over where it matters. Press conference with red bands will not scare anyone.
