Serial callers of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) have weighed in on the controversy rocking the party, warning the leadership of the NDC to end the unwarranted attacks on former President Mahama.
According to them, they’re rallying hundreds of folks within their ranks to embark on a serious protest against the post-election attacks on the former President, John Dramani Mahama.
Yahuza, one of the popular serial callers of the largest opposition NDC told host Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM, that they’re following the latest developments in the party with great concern, adding they are appalled by the misbehaviour of the leaders and National Executives of the party.
“Why are they bastardizing President Mahama? For what reason. The leaders are the cause of the NDC woes. We are in the woods because of their selfish interest. They should be careful with their actions now, and what they are doing has the tendency of further polarizing the party, but we will fight against it. We shall have a meeting this weekend to mobilize ourselves for a massive protest in the coming days.”
The Kwasi Botchwey committee is expected to conduct hearing among the rank and file of the party, as well as solicit for views from members of the party across the country for review and restructure itself after the NDC’s worst defeat in history.
But even before the dust settles on the NDC, some national executives and party members have taken to the media with vicious attacks deepening the cracks within the party.
The former President, who was the 2016 Presidential Candidate of the NDC has been at the centre of the controversy, leading to a divided opinion as to whether it will yield any good results allowing Mahama to lead the party again in 2020 elections.
But many of the footsoldiers like Yahuza contends their loyalty to President Mahama is unconditional, hence they will ensure the current leader of the party is protected.
“He can’t do all the work that is why he appointed ministers, leaders and other officials to reach out to those on the grounds. But they messed him up and ignored campaigning for him. We are ready to defend Mahama even if it will send us to prison.''

A VERY CONFUSED PARTY INDEED !!!!!!; NDC MEMBERS SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS: 'HONOUR THY FATHER AND MOTHER THAT THY DAYS MAY BE LONG UPON THIS EARTH' ; Who said Jon Mahama was a competent leader ; the man was a Chigago gangster mafia boss with loyal bag carriers like Kofi Adams ; StanDogbe ; Asiedu Nketia ; Ablakwa ; Omane Boama and KOKU ;the man came to power by muddering Atta Mills ; he had no clue as to how to govern ; he was bent on stilling and lutting from his country men and sharing the proceeds with his family and frineds and some NDC members; CAN NOT THE NDC MEMBERS SEE THIS FOLLY BY JON MAHAMA !!!!!; all the people listed made a full of the grassroots and today they clamour for Jon Mahama AGAIN !!!!!!!; they must be an INSANE GROUP .
What kind of culture do we have in Ghana? Why is it that a king never goes wrong? In politics we always blame "those around" the president but doesn't the president have brains of his own? Doesn't the president ever make mistakes? Mahama is to blame for a lot of things that went wrong in the party. the worst one was when he attempted to "STEAL" vice president's house. That was an unpardonable mistake that would end his political career and voters would not allow him to come again after he has increased his salary and taken plenty ex gratia. This act alone would cost the NDC
