Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah, on Tuesday locked horns with the Minority Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwah in Parliament over alleged money charged expatriates who sat beside the President during the recent Ghana Expatriates Business Awards.
The near fisticuff occurred after the two met in a media interview on the matter, Tuesday, outside Parliament.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini who took Mr Ablakwah from the scene to avoid a 'full-blown' fight in an interview on Class FM, narrated how everything happened:
“I was stepping out of the chamber when I noticed that Honourable Ablakwah was addressing the press. From a distance I saw that Carlos Ahenkorah was throwing his hands and throwing a lot of tantrums. So I got attracted to the scene to find out what was going on
All along when Mr Ablakwa was speaking to the press, he (Mr Ahenkorah) kept interjecting and insulting and making all kinds of allegations that were so unrelated to the topic that he (Mr Ablakwah) was speaking on.
When he (Mr Ablakwah) finished and was turning away then he (Mr Ahenkorah) grabbed him and said he (Mr Ablakwah) should stay and listen to his response so that he won’t reply again. That was when Ablakwa said he takes exception to the adjectives that he was using on him and it almost degenerated at that point. But I held Honourable Ablakwa and asked him to move away because I thought that Carlos was disgracing himself"

Who doesn't know Ghanaian politicians are "krimials"? A bunch of thugs.
Did you take your mental pill today or you forgot
This is serious. Carlos should have known better than what he did. Is NPP trying to say that people can no longer express their feelings freely. Okudzeto IS ONLY TRYING TO BE A RESPONSIBLE OPPOSITION TO EXPOSE WRONGS AND CORRUPTIONS IN SOME INDIVIDUALS THAT THINK THEY ARE BIGGER THAN GHANA. The president said in his inauguration speech we should not be spectators but citizens. a good citizen means to bring out rot to the attention of the majority to get rid of those elements
when men that are supposed to do honourable things as they are addressed decides to do otherwise.Mr ahe.... should be sactioned by mr. president. HON OKUDZETO I ADMIRE YOUR CRITISMS THEY ARE VERY CONSTRUCTIVE
this okudjeto guy is the most ***barred word*** person i have ever seen. i feel like vomiting whenever i see his face. they are just looking for a way to paint the govt black. what is his business if someone decides to collect money from ple. is he saying he is a saint? c'mon. this guy who has never worked be4 goes about throwing money to ple during campaigns. he will keep huge sums of money in his car boot for campaigns. where did he got all those monies if not from stea>l>ing. this is why ndc deserves to be in opposition bcos they seem to be awake when in opposition. all these are plots to frustrate the work of the special prosecutor from hunting them.
Hon okudzeto Ablakwa deserves what came to him from Carlos. Suddenly, ablakwa has become the mouth piece of exposing corruption. Why do you think he is doing that? Simple the fear of the independent prosecutor. Without studying the facts, he comes to label the process as corruption and accuse certain persons as being corrupt. If indeed he wanted the truth he would have gone for the truth.
PLEASE KINDLY STOP THE INSULT,THIS WILL NOT HELP AS A NATION,SO PEOPLE CAN NOLONGER EXPRESS THEIR FREEDOM OF SPEECH WITHOUT INSULTING EACH OTHER ?WE SHOULD ALL BOW DOWN OUR HEAD IN SHAME.HIDING BEHIND TECHNOLOGY TO EXHIBIT COWARDISE
@jj or whatever...be mindful that soldiers are not there for NDC but they are there to protect and defend the good name of Ghana but not propaganda, lies, and self-centred people like Okudjeto and co-horts. Okudjeto has now realised while in opposition that there is a word called "soberness"
CARLOS YOU HAVE MISS AN OPPORTUNITY WE ALL WANTED. NEXT TIME SLAP HIM SO THAT HE LEARNS HOW TO TALK. FUUULLLISHH BOY.
Can you explain "uneducated". I know Carlos in his day at KNUST and also as the shipping Manager at Agro foods. What about ablakwa? He lied through his education and still lying. Let me tell you to never to think the soldiers are for you. They are there to protect the nation but not the NDC ttthieeves.
