Rhetorics
THE APPROACH ADOPTED TO RAISE THE FUNDS IS TOO CHEAP A MEANS. THE APPROACH IS VERY COMMON IN GHANAIAN CHURCHES AND IT MUST BE DISCOURAGED. SOMETIMES IN CHURCHES THE FAKE PASTORS WILL CALL THOSE WITH 5,000 CEDIS COME FORWARD FOR PRAYERS THEN 2000 AND SO ON AND ON. IT IS TOO CHEAP A MEANS TO RAISE FUNDS. IT PORTRAYS GHANA GOD TO BE CORRUPT AS HE GRANTS ACCESS TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. THE APPROACH WHICH IS EATING INTO GHANA POLITICS MUST BE STOPPED. THERE IS NO FREE LUNCH ANYWHERE.
Allan stop sabotaging Nana, this is new Ghana no more back door deals. Allan has to go, Nana show him the door, this smells like agenda twenty twenty in motion.
1. WHY INSULTING GBEHO, BECAUSE HE IS NDC. WHY SHOULD WE CONTINUOUSLY MAKE GHANA DEPOLARIZED. WE NEED BIG MINDS TO FORGE UNITY AND COLLABORATION AND BROADLY SOLICIT VARIED OPINIONS FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND HELP TO REDUCE POLITICAL TENSION IN THE NATION. 2.DON'T INSULT EUGENE. THE PRESIDENT HAS THE RIGHT TO KNOW IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THE ISSUES AS IT HAS BECOME CONTROVERSIAL. 3. DON'T BLAME ALAN AND TRADE MINISTRY. MINISTERS ARE APPOINTED TO TAKE DECISIONS AND INITIATIVES. THE PRESIDENT CANNOT BE INVOLVED IN EVERY MINUTE DETAILS. 4. SELF SUPPORTING - MANY A TIME SOME MINISTRIES BECOMES VIRTUALLY DORMANT DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS TO OPERATE. IF MINISTRIES CAN HELP TO RAISE FUNDS TO SUPPORT ITS ACTIVITIES FAIR AND GOOD, PROVIDED THE PROCESS IS TRANSPARENT AND THE FUNDS RAISED IS ACCOUNTABLE. 5. STOP BEING PETTY - WE NEED MATURE OPPOSITION FOR PRODUCTIVE CRITICISM. WE DONT NEED TO CRITICISE FOR THE AIM TO STIFLE THE GOVERNMENT. PARLIAMENTARIANS SHOULD STOP BEHAVING LIKE BOYS GROUP TOGETHER IN BOARDING SCHOOL TO SPEND MONEY OF PARENTS. MANY MPS ARE VERY UNREALISTICS. THEY MUST STOP BEING PETTY. INITIATIVE: HOW CAN GHANA GROW IF WE ALWAYS THINK WITHIN THE BOX. WE SHOULD ENCOURAGE INITIATIVES AND INNOVATIVES. WE SHOULD NOT DAMPEN THE SPIRIT OF PEOPLE WHO TAKES INITIATIVES. IT IS THE GREATEST WOE OF AFRICA. PHD SYNDROME.
@Edem and @asgil : Y'all are naive or rather having the wrong information. Sorry but the event was not a fund raising event. It was awarding expatriate businesses and business persons in Ghana. This government is so hungry and corrupt, if care is not taken, they would collapse or sell of this country before their end of tenure.
@Edem u're ryt. it seems we think same except that I don't want to focus on Eugene. After reading and listening, I realised govt communication esp at the flagstaff house has been poor. the focus of explanation should have been letting Ghanaians know it was a fund raising kind of thing done by the event organizers. Nana Addo shouldn't have commented on it.
HMMMM CAN AKUFO ADDO FIGHT CORRUPTION ? HIS OWN MINISTERS ARE CORRUPT LIKE HIM
I am sorry but Eugene Arhin is too immature and inexperienced to speak for the presidency of the Republic of Ghana. That portfolio is too big for him. Isn't Mustapha Hamid suppose to be the presidential spokesperson? So why should Eugene be the person speaking on these issues? Governance is serious business! I read what Ambassador Victor Gbeho said and from the sound of it was a fundraiser by the Millennium Challenge Account or some organization and not the ministry selling seats. And as Akoto said this is done in many places around the world to raise funds for organizations and causes. So why is Arhin trying to impugn wrong doing? And to think that Okudzeto Ablakwa and Muntaka are leading this noises is even funny. A minister who used state funds to fly his girlfriend around and spend our money on khebab now preaching integrity? Ghana paa hmm
Eugene, stop throwing dust into the eyes of people, we know it's been the modus operandi of people around the President, during the campaign money's were collected from people to shake hands with him, it happened in London and all the foreign countries he visited.
Listen to the PIGS they will always steal even in the church and say is NOT true. Their faces and Stomachs show how corrupt they are but the black monkeys among them will say is not corruption but money laundering and case close
