Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah has sincerely apologized to Ghanaians for engaging in a-near fight with the North Tongu NDC MP, Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa.
According to him, that is not his nature and that “I am pleading with Ghanaians to forgive me” and "I promise that it will never happen again..."
He said that exchanges that happened on Tuesday shouldn't have happened.
He has also asked Okudjeto Ablakwa to forgive him, adding "we need to continue as brothers from different mothers. . . . "
He spoke on Peace FM's 'kokrokoo' programme in an interview with GJA Journalist of the year award winner, Kwami Sefa Kayi.
Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah, on Tuesday locked horns with the Minority Spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwah in Parliament over alleged money charged expatriates who sat beside the President during the recent Ghana Expatriates Business Awards.
The near fisticuff occurred after the two met in a media interview on the matter, Tuesday, outside Parliament.

For clarity sake, peacefmonline.com show had stated the issues as they're ensued. They did meet on any media interview, its Carlos Ahenkorah rather who joined the interview being granted by hon Ablakwa through the back door when indeed he was not invited. Please do a proper reportage for the benefit of the general public. These shenanigans must desist going forward.
NPP you ain’t seen nothing yet. We will bring the worst out of you all. Next time you’ll see the President in blows
just resign so that the standards of governance in Ghana will improve
CARLOS AHENKORAH must be shown the exit door as a deputy minister. This pugilist will always be one such disgrace. He did the ***barred word*** in the primaries and exported same behaviour into governance. The President must sack him.
Nii you are funnyooo I laugh enter Flagstar house.
I am waiting patiently. He will surely apologise again. He is so rowdy and rude unfit to be my MP. He has been banned by the TMA too for assault. Is this what we took to Parliament? Load of tosh
Well done Mr Ahenkorah. It takes a mature man to realize his mistakes and make attempts to right the wrong. You are a true statesman. Proud of you.
Every NDC say sorry before? NPP is too weak.
