The Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram constituency Sam George has questioned the Nima Divisional Police Command if they will be able to protect President Akufo-Addo from Boko Haram attacks.
He further wondered why the police couldn’t protect the President from the traders who cannot be numbered to 100.
His comment comes on the back of the traders who have been evicted from operating around the President’s house.
According to him, the traders are not evicted because they pose security threat to the President and that he just wants to beautify his house.
Speaking on Morning Starr, the law maker said, ‘The decision to evict the traders is an aesthetic decision not a national security issue. The Nima Divisional Police Command cannot protect the President from 25 traders? That is very serious…can they then protect him from Boko Haram?’.
The traders and artisans were compensated with amounts ranging from GH¢3,000-GH¢10,000.
Some have refused to pack out arguing that they were not part of the initial eviction.

Sam whatever is sooo soooo ***barred word*** to ask such a question. In the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. I wish boko haram attacks him first. In the country where boko haram exists, have they attached the president?
beautify his house? do you live on an island? this sellers have decided to tarnish the beauty of Accra by selling everywhere.
Politics is so cheap in Ghana that a National Security issue about the protection of the president is now like a chewing stick. Everyone, whether knowledgeable on security matters or ignoramus like the woman who was paid to weep on TV set is talking about it. In the US, everywhere the prez goes is declared a no fly zone. I remember When Prez ***barred word*** visited Italy some few years ago, 10,000 security personnel were deployed and mobile phones were deactivated on the route he used. We play politics with our prez's security. Its about time national security takes action without recourse to anyone. Have we soon forgotten what Gbevlo Lartey did to Ex Prez Kuffour on his choice of office? Lets learn please
Politics has become so cheap any eejit can becomes no
