A flag bearer aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Goosie Tanoh says all is not well with his party in recent times.
He explained that things have changed in the party ever since they won the 1992 elections.
“Not all is well with NDC. Let me explain something to you: When NDC was NDC and when we organised the communities and mobilised the branches, we won the 1992 elections by 58 per cent, in 1996 we won by 57.6 per cent, in 2008 we won by 47,000 votes, less than one per cent. In 2012, we won by less than one per cent.
“All has not been well with the NDC, don’t deceive yourself. We lost massively in 2016 by one million votes. Don’t make a mistake and think only NDC members can win an election, we can’t.
“In the same way, not only NPP members can win an election, we need the people they call independent and floating voters who are about two to three million people, we need to attract them. In 2016, we did not attract them, ask yourself why? Shine your eyes," Goosie Tanoh told delegates at Dodowa in the Shai-Osudoku district as part of his 5-day tour of the Greater Accra Region.
He however urged the delegates to make a wise decision in selecting a flagbearer to restore the image of the party.

If all is not well with NDC, what are you doing and what can you do to help the party? So, you want to lead that party eehh? Go and sleep, bro.
With the current state of affairs in the country, the NDC has one foot in government! These wanna be presidents must stop pissing in and shape up!
I am not NDC supporter but I believe that, so far, out of the many aspirants, Mr. Goosie is the most credible and well-qualified candidate in terms of political expediency and independence. Though I was very much disappointed when he visited Rawlings, so to speak, to seek his endorsement. For me, Rawlings represent despotism, deceit, lies, and a murder in the NDC. Then Goosie parted with the NDC, because of the imposition of Mills' Candidature by Rawlings on the Party, the so-called Sweduro declaration at the time. That notwithstanding, we all saw how Rawlings sought to malign and pull-strings with President Mills' Administration. And Rawlings when he did not get his way he was always at loggerheads with the good Professor throughout his administration till his passing on. I wish Goosie had learned his lessons well with Rawlings and had independently come out with the aim to reform NDC. The state of the NDC to date needs a complete overhaul.
Goosie, where were you? where have you been? after you went and formed your own huhuhuhuhu party, what happened again? why now Tano?
NDC SOCIAL INTERVENTION PROGRAM: SHARING OF SANITARY PADS TO JHS STUDENTS....HAHAHAHAHA...DR TOO GET SHORT MEMORY? NDC PEOPLE YOU FOR MAKE AM KNOW

Hi Mr Tanoh, I needed not to say a word but for the sake of posterity, i go say some... First, this is no news at all, Papa Jay has said it time and again that your party has new breed of humans called "Sharp-teethed", not long ago, we were made aware about 60% of your own were deeply corrupt. As for what we the populace have witness will not be mentioned. My only advise is a total "annihilation" and start from the scratch. Deluding yourself into thinking God orchestrated your 2016 lost is only a beautiful fairy tale to be told to the marines. Enough said !!!
Is this man really in to win the flag bearer race or you’re in to make the party look bad. There is no association that has no problems, I think your utterances should rather be geared towards Uniting the party than all this things you say all the time. When you were not happy about some issues in the party you broke away instead of staying in the party and make things right. You would’ve been in John Mahama’s position now if you had stayed around. Now that you’re back you’re spoiling your chances again with some of your utterances.
