James Kwabena Bonfeh, popularly known as Kabila, acting General Secretary of the Convention People's Party (CPP) has rationalized appellations and praises poured on John Mahama by a CPP activist at the just ended 9th National Delegates Congress of the National Democratic Congress.
The woman joined his Director of Communications, Abdul Rauf Kadir, to deliver a solidarity message at the congress.
Praise-singing
After the speech, she took over the microphone and started singing the praises of former President John Dramani Mahama.
Her action led many to wonder if indeed she was a true-blooded Nkrumaist.
Over-excitement?
Reacting to this during a panel discussion on Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, Monday, Kabila said the woman’s posture "does not represent the views of the party".
He averred that the conduct of the CPP activist could be attributed to "over-excitement".
"It doesn’t represent the views of the party…It was a slip of tongue; over excitement...the view of the party is in the solidarity message," he indicated.
Weirdest Solidarity Message Ever?
Five years ago, at a similar congress held in the Ashanti Regional capital of Kumasi, the then General Secretary of the CPP, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet, delivered what some described as the "weirdest" solidarity message in the annals of the country's political history.
Mr Greenstreet incurred the wrath of NDC delegates when he accused the ruling government (the NDC) of bringing untold hardships to Ghanaians and also doing very little to alleviate their plight.
Amidst jeers by the delegates and shouts of "away", "away", the undeterred CPP stalwart said he thought the NDC party would have used the occasion to discuss the problems facing the country, instead "you have decided to use it to share your Christmas gifts.
"Ghanaians are watching you and continue to do what you want, we know what to do when the time comes," he said.

THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL: MAHAMA PAID THIS WOMAN TO DO WHAT SHE DID. SIMPLE!
who doesnt know cpp is one of ndc political branches. soon ndc will also be like cpp. the only thing making ndc feel they are relevant is the fact that they have stolen soo much that it will take a long time to finish that money. but believe me that money will finish by 2020 and in 2021 they will go bankrupt and join the their branches.
CPP SHOULD GET RID OF PEOPLE LIKE KABILA - HE'S NOT AN NKRUMAHIST - HE'S RATHER AN NDC MOLE PLANTED IN THE CPP. THE CPP WILL FOREVER REMAIN IN OPPOSITION IF THEY KEEP TAKING MONIES FROM THE NDC TO BE SIDELINED. NKRUMAH MUST BE WORRIED IN HIS GRAVE!!!
Kabila himself is a joke. He claimed on Peace FM that he wrote a speech for the CPP representative to deliver at the NDC congress but the rep threw the prepared speech away and did his own thing. How can the CPP call itself a serious political party. Allotey Jacobs, Faustina Nelson, Kwesi Pratt and co have sold the CPP to the NDC because of their stomachs.
NO WONDER NO ONE TAKES THE CPP SERIOUS. SINGING THE PRAISE OF A CORRUPT LEADER LIKE MAHAMA. ?
By their actions (fruits) ye shall know them! Many people said to be CPP, PNC, Domestication, Akua Donko, Hassan Ayariga (Ayaricolf) are all sycophants in those parties and work for NDC but still 44%. The year 2020 will be worse for them. Even 32% will be charitable!
Just leave Kabila alone. He is a known NDC ambassador to the CPP. He is on the pay roll of the NDC to this day. Let him deny it. CPP died with Kwame Nkrumah. On paper, CPP exists, but in the political equation of Ghana, there is no party identified as CPP. The present individuals massaging the CPP have no hope or faith in the CPP. They are just using it as a bargaining chip, to amass wealth and get some 'chop' money.
The demise of the CPP is laid squarely at the doorstep of Kwame Nkrumah and no one else. He was life Chairman, there was a time he was General Secretary and because he was president for life it means he was also life presidential candidate. He never had a deputy prime minister he also never had a vice president. The whole thing was about himself and it was obvious he felt no one had the wisdom to run the party or even to replace him as president as long as he was alive. The CPP keeps blaming mysterious forces for its decline starting from the 1966 coup. They forget that the Danquah-Busia tradition was banned in 1964, and banned again in 1972. Yet because Danquahh, Grant and others formed a true political party, the tradition is still strong, winning election after election but the CPP is down to 1% of the vote, no seats in parliament and now their executives are singing songs about the leader of another political party The CPP is dead, gone forever and all this is down to a certain Kwame Nkrumah
What is over excitement? The representative of the CPP is over excited about Mahama than her own party? You guys are something else. No wonder your political fortunes have fled to Burkina Faso with SADA guinea fowls.
Kabila is another political ***barred word***.
