Deputy Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation, Mr Williams Kwasi Sabi seems to have confirmed the NDC's claim that the ruling party is constructing dugouts instead of dams as promised during the 2016 elections.
The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said the government’s '1 Village 1 Dam' (1V1D) promise is deceptive and that they are not fit for purpose.
The NPP, however, denied this allegation.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM's midday news, the Deputy Minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Dormaa East constituency, said it is true that some of the villages have dugouts instead of dams; however there is an explanation.

I LAUGH ENTER SOMEWHERE OOOOO!NPP, NOW U GUYS RE RUNNING AWAY? NA LIE! NAAANIAAAMAAAA!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA
This is how 2020 is going to be. NPP will eat humble pie when campaign starts. They will be forced to explain and account to the people. We are waiting.
Bad reportage. NPP has never denied the fact that some of the dams do not meet specification. The President has acknowledge the challenge and has said that they will investigate it. The VP is on record to say that the government will not pay any contractor who do not meet the specifications. The Minister said, though there are challenges, most of them constructed and under construction meets a dams specification. These are recorded facts and our Kontomire journalist should improve their acts. NPP has never denied any allegation. Learn to report well. You are not lying but you lack knowledge of reportage.
I LOVE NPP AND THE TRUTH. IF IT WAS NDC, THIS GUY WILL LIE AND INSULT PEOPLE. GOD BLESS YOU. AT LEAST
YOU WILL TALK TRUE HAHHAHAHAH
