Former Deputy Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection under the erstwhile National Democratic Congress [NDC], Rachel Nana Adjoa Appoh says her former boss was lucky to have polled 559 votes in her attempt to become a member of parliament.
To her, Nana Oye Lithur has “no respect for human beings” – adding that, her defeat should be a lesson for her in her future political endeavor.
Rachel Appoh who was speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ said she is happy Mohammed Adamu Ramadan won the contest to lead the people of Adentan.
The former Gender Minister lost the Adentan constituency primaries after she polled 559 votes while Mohammed Adamu Ramadan polled 730 votes out of a total of 1290 votes cast.
