The Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has been advised to apologize to families of the missing Takoradi girls.
Maame Yaa Tiwaa courted controversy when she said at a press conference some months ago that the Police knew the whereabouts of the girls; a statement which they now claim it was based on false information received from the suspect.
A DNA report conducted on some human skeletons collected confirmed the kidnapped girls dead, and calls have emerged again demanding for Maame Yaa Tiwaa's resignation.
Speaking to this on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', social commentator, Bernard Allotey Jacobs said the CID boss must go and apologize to the families.

Allotey, I now understand why ndc members are insulting you. Apology for what? She need to be sacked!!! If nana addo doesn't sack her it means he is the one behind all the cock and bull stories the police keep giving Ghanaians. It means he is manipulating state institutions. When an appointee gets it wrong, you fire him. Why was agyarko fired but tiwa, Bryan acheampong, Ambrose dery and Morrison are still at post even though they gave Ghanaians false hope. The same way agyarko deceived the president and was fired, these persons have deceived the president and have to be fired.
she must rather resign to save her further embarrassment.
