A former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged his party to stop trying to convince the Electoral Commission (EC) to rescind its decision of compiling a new voters' register.
According to him, they (NDC) can go to the moon and back; nothing will change the EC's mind.
Citing the Deputy Chairman of the EC in charge of Operations, Samuel Tettey and Director of Electoral Services at the Commission, Dr. Serebour Quaicoe who according to him, are very experienced at their work, he said "they will not give in . . . I’m telling my party, they will not give in . . . no matter what we do, they will compile a new voters' register."

Some political parties including the NDC under the umbrella: Inter-Party resistance against the New voters' register have vowed to resist the EC's decision.
According to the group, they will continue to hold demonstrations countrywide until the EC changes its mind.
The first protest was in Tamale and the second in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi.

Upon all NPP's attempts to request Charlotte Osei to compile a new voters roll, she "cleaned" it, even the supreme court had to come in. Why should Jean Mensah "clean" this Ecowas register? SHE WILL COMPLITE A NEW REGISTER. THE COURT IS WAITING FOR NDC!! That is my opinion though.
There is a proverb that says, the one who is constructing road will not know if the road is straight or crooked unless those behind can tell, this is politics of the day, if you are in power différent attitude, if you are in opposition diffreent attitude, they are all the same. This man knows how they play thier game, leave him to advice them.
This man has become a ***barred word*** irritant being used by peacefm to validate their agenda and I am wondering why the communication team continues to allow this. Your comerades are demonstrating and if you cannot join them the least you can do is to support them morally instead of sitting on peacefm propaganda station championed by chairman general to spew ***barred word***. You may get your bread buttered for today but I cry for your children and grandchildren who might want to take it from where you left of. You are injuring their chances if you are not aware
