General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC], Johnson Asiedu Nketia, says the ruling New Patriotic Party [NPP] lied about their “One Constituency, One Ambulance” initiative.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday commissioned and distributed the 307 ambulances procured to help augment operations of the National Ambulance Service [NAS].
The new ambulances are to be distributed in all 275 constituencies in Ghana in fulfillment of the government’s 2016 election campaign to help improve emergency healthcare delivery.
The programme is under the Ministry of Special Development Initiative christened, “One Constituency, One Ambulance”.
But, ‘General Mosquito’ as affectionately called in politics, speaking in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’ said that the NPP never captured in their 2016 manifesto to provide each constituency with an ambulance as a campaign promise.
“To be honest with you, I never heard during the 2016 election that NPP promised one constituency one ambulance and I don’t know if it’s in their manifesto,” he told host Mac Jerry Osei Agyeman.
Adding that, “What I have realized is that, this government attributes anything they're mandated to do as a campaign promise. There was no ‘one constituency one ambulance’ during their campaign. They promised one constituency one million Ghana cedis, that is what they have to deliver. They are being deceitful.”

So what? That should tell you they are doing more than they have promised. How is that to your favour?
SUCH SICKEEEENING, STINKKING AND MADENNNING STATEMENT FROM A WARPED MIND
@Max...why are you so charitable to this desperate man and his party. Your last point about Nketia's thinking is what marvels me. A government did not promise to procure ambulances yet it has provided 307 ambulances and someone like Nketia has a problem with it...aaw!. Yesterday this same man said the ambulances should not have been distributed to the constituencies but rather to the districts. He has forgotten that the constituencies are found within the districts. A confused man indeed!
heh, nkwsai fuo wo ndc mu paaa ooh
enti den?
You see how desperately the NDC Gen. Secretary, ‘General Mosquito’ is. This level of argument shows a very low standard of thinking coming from a Secretary of an opposition party. To touch shortly on two issues to buttress my point to demonstrate the intellectual deficit of the NDC, the whole Mr. Asiedu Nketia wanted the EC-Boss Mrs. Jean Mensah to say the register that had produced Presidents for the Republic of Ghana is incredible instead of saying the register is overstretched. Mind you, overstretched here means the register is faulty and it can be improved but not incredible. The good Jean is intellectually sound that she refused to take words in her mouth to say the register is incredible. Today Mr. Mosquito is saying the ruling party is deceiving Ghanaians because it has provided ambulances which it had not promised the electorates. Is that not a big SIIILLLY!
Eiiiii skin pain paa ni. Whether they promised or not they have delivered so applaud them and stop needless complaints. The more Nana Addo delivers, the more NDC and Asiedu Nketia becomes talkatives. We have just about 10 months to elections and instead of you advising your Mahama and NDC to choose running mate and lunch your manifesto, you are here saying Nana Addo this Nana Addo that and fighting for mere compilation of new register as if you have something special hidden in the current register
EIIIISH!!! ASIEDU NKWASIA AGAIN?
Eiii eiii eiii Ashe wo paaa oooh so do they have to promise before delivering?what is leadership about, if not to proffer solutions?leadership is solving issues, addressing needs.Did mosquito really think about this before opening his enum kankan to talk aoooo i feel very sad for Ghana Infact i feel scandalized haba and such a person who have nothing good for Ghana be voted for to waste tax payers precious money apuuuu piawww go burn in the ***barred word***.
