Former President John Dramani Mahama has been described as an “Infrastructure King” by the former Deputy Minister of Education, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who is certain that he [Mahama] will come into power in 2020 to put up more facilities to give a true meaning to the free Senior High School Policy that President Akufo-Addo has implemented.
According to him, the Mahama-led government in 2021 after winning the 2020 general elections will return to the Community Day Concept to complete the abandoned school projects which are at various stages of completion.
Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Hon. Ablakwa insinuated that if not for extreme partisanship and pettiness, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) should have completed the Community Day School projects within some months when they took over power from the NDC government.
“It will not take months to complete them but because of extreme partisanship and pettiness, NPP don’t want to do so because when they do, we will say it is President Mahama’s projects,” he asserted.
He, however, indicated that the NDC led by former President John Mahama with foresight will expand infrastructure projects similar to what happened under former President John Evans Atta Mills when he took over from former President John Agyekum Kufuor.
“In just a year, we were able to expand infrastructure under emergency system to be able to cater for the increased enrolment and that is why we are saying that based on that track record of 2010/2011 academic year, we can do it under the ‘infrastructure King’ whom everyone knows that when it comes to infrastructure, President Mahama is next to President Nkrumah; everybody knows this is a fact," he indicated.
“If you have the political will, if you are determined, you will rapidly expand your infrastructure. You can do it and so we are saying that the double-track has brought truancy which is affecting quality education; because we are not just interested in everyone going to school because there is nothing more dangerous than half-baked education where those graduating may probably not spell their names and they are not useful citizens."
“They have abandoned the projects and they are rather bastardizing them. We will seriously address the infrastructure gap and when we do that, we will eliminate double track,” he assured.

NDC, after realizing that is could not improve the economy resorted to infrastructural development and used the GREEN BOOK as a tool to publicize the so-called infrastructure. This book could not help it win the 2016 elections so, it is revisiting the methodology for winning 2009 elections, which is PROPAGANGA AND LIES. It thinks NPP won the 2016 elections on lies so, it is vigorously pursuing the LIES campaign. them
Tweaaaa... What King? This Mahama guy is a conman.... He is corruption king. Airbus bribe, Kanazoe ford bribe, double salary to his appointees, guinea fowls, .... name the rest. Mahama is a th!ef.....simple.
This guy is a big time joker, talks as if the NDC would have completed any incomplete project if the NDC took over from the ruling party. Wo kasa k3k3, do not spew garbage for the upcoming ones to get the opportunity to say .......about you.
Your GREEN BOOK which captured your non-existing infrastructure sent you to opposition. I think you people want to remain in opposition for long time that is why you are still talking about non-existing infrastructure. Your empty head is like coconut, if coconut is better bcos it has juice and drink in it.
I THINK MOST OF THOSE CONDEMNING MR. ABLAKWA DO NOT HAVE TV SETS AND RADIO SETS IN THEIR HOMES. EVERY DAY TV3 GIVES GHANAIANS UPDATE OF INFRASTRUCTURE, RANGING FROM CHIPPS COMPOUNDS, HOSPITALS, AIRPORTS, HARBOURS AND E-BLOCKS ET CETERA, ET CETERA THAT THE JOHN MAHAMA LED ADMINISTRATION LEFT WHICH THIS SLEEPING GOVERNMENT HAS ABUNDONNED. TELL THESE PEOPLE THEY NEED TO BE PEOPLE OF CURRENCY AND NOT REMAIN IN THEIR PAST.
NDC thinks that Ghanaian's believe in lies and deception therefore NDC has resorted in lies spree for Ghanaian's to accept their lies. Today in Ghana due to free senior high school some Ghanaian's can read and understand so NDC usual lies and propaganda will not see the light again.\ Mr. mahama is paramount chief in corruptions and one classical example is KANAZOR FORD EXPEDITION bribed FEAR MAHAMA AND SAVE TOUR LIFE AND GHANA
Oh nye bro, Nuka emaa??? You know very well that your champion with all the chop chop from the Airbus connivance to dupe the motherland in excess of US 50M dollars kroaaaa could not complete even 30 classroom E-Blocks in 4 years. Folks, the structures were classroom blocks and it must be placed on record that their days schools structures didn't have a dormitories or dinning halls or any staff bungalows attached. And even with that, it is a fact that the World Bank financed the construction of 23 whiles JDM and his akatamansonians could only complete 22. So what made JDM infrastructure King. The visionary gift of a president and his able ministers for education are now constructing boarding and dinning facilities in virtually all the schools the built miles away from the towns. Even in my own backyard, where becos of father Efo Ga Jerry, they still enjoy some uneasy support because of deceptions and lies, they should be bold to list any projects they did for us in 8 years. Some of us are now wise ooooo so let my small bro Ablakwa stop deceiving himself and not infuriate the people of North Tonu. As for the Adakluaians, we know the truth has set us free. God bless Mother Ghana! God Bless the Great Adaklu Kingdom! God Bless GOV-1! (Not the Airbus One oooooo), God Bless the Great Elephant.
@G01, please note that 1.5m jobs can be created in less than one year, if all it takes is to write their names on a piece of paper.
If a lier like Ablakwa calls him "Infrastructure king" we won't be surprised. But I guess the man himself is not enthused about the description. They created 1.5 million jobs is less than 1year, according to Ablakwa.
what happened that you could only do less than 50 out of 200. mo gyae nsem huunu no, na mo kwo hwehwe bus no a enam nframa mu no.
