The National Communication Bureau of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes to inform all its Communicators, Media Monitors, and Officials that the Party has boycotted Peace (104.3) FM’s morning show (Kookrokoo) effective today, Wednesday, 6th May 2020.
This decision has been occasioned by the unfair paneling system that the Production Team of that program has continuously foisted on the NDC over a number of months. Specifically, the reason for this boycott has to do with the unreasonable decision of the Producers and Host of the program to permanently reserve one (1) of the two (2) slots the party has traditionally had on Wednesdays on the show to Mr. Allotey Jacobs, who is often introduced by the host of the program as a “Social Commentator with strong leanings to the NDC”, ostensibly to spite the NDC.
All efforts to get the Producers and Host of the program to give us a fair representation on the show over the past eight (8) months, including a complaint to the Management of the station for an amicable resolution of this matter, have proven futile, as the party continues to be treated with utmost contempt.
This unfair treatment flies in the face of the long-standing tradition of the program, which allocates two (2) slots each to the NDC and the NPP on Wednesdays and Fridays respectively. Although we appreciate the production and editorial discretion of the station to give their platform to whoever they deem fit, we consider it unfair for the NPP to maintain their two (2) slots on Fridays while the NDC’s two slots on Wednesdays are reduced to one (1), to satisfy the whim of a dictatorial Host and his poodle.
In protest to this flagrant disregard for fairness by the Host and Production Crew of the program, the National Communication Bureau of the NDC has decided to cease the placement of party communicators on the “Kookrokoo” show forthwith.
All Communicators, Media Monitors, Members, and Officials of the NDC are hereby entreated to refuse any invitations and/or interviews from the said program, until the station addresses our concerns and reviews their unfair paneling system.
Signed.
SAMMY GYAMFI
(National Communication Officer, NDC)
Listen to show host Kwami Sefa Kayi as he speaks to the issue on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 edition of the program.

Poodle..., ah! May the good Lord forgive this young man. Little said the better
who cares about ndc not taking part in a radio program at least it will sanitize the airways with their filthy discussion.
The current crop of Ndc communicators are annoying of shouting when analysing issues. Alot of people stopped listening to media when they heard people like Sammy Genfi, John Jinapor, Adongo, Abronye etc. The problem is not Kwame rather Sammy Genfi. They may not realise the damage now.
GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH
Thanks Sammy this is long over due, I wonder why it takes NDC very long to realised this, That guy is a hypocrite, you are very lenient on he you should have sacked him from the party
Who is Sammy Gyamfi referring to as a poodle? I just want to know. Hmmmm! This baby with sharp teeth. Can't he communicate without insulting? I just can't think far. If the NPP presents Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and the NDC presents Sammy Gyamfi to Ghanaians to be voted for as the president of Ghana today, who will win? We should think about this question deeply and we will know the one destroying the image of the NDC. Communication is not about loudness, use of big English words and insults oo. Ghanaians do not joke with their cultural practices of respect for the elderly oo. Yooo
No objective person will condone what peace FM is doing. You may have your editorial policy but since you are inviting political parties and not individuals, why would you want to impose a panelist on one particular party. If you are not imposing Alotey Jacob on the NDC, then you should allow them two panelists of their choice just as you have given the NPP the opportunity to do.The fact remains he is an NDC man but the party is saying they don't what him to be their rep on the show. What is the big deal about this? What is good for the geese is good for the gander. I rest my case.
Hahaha! Who cares if Allotey is your producer? This ***barred word*** half baked so called journalist can even continue to allow his wife to sleep with Allotey if he so wish. That is his own cup of tea. In fact, this ***barred word*** can even lick Allotey's ***barred word*** and nobody cares a hoot about it. Such criminals parading aa journalists. I pity your ends.
THIS IS GOOD NEWS TO KOKROOKO LISTENERS. WE HAVE BEEN SPARED OF USELESSSS NOISE. ACTUALLY NDC COMMENTATORS HAS BECOME NUISANCEEE BECAUSE THEY HAVE CONSISTENTLY FAIL TO APPLY LOGIN AND COMMON SENSE.
Though president Trump always tag CNN as fake news, Kellyanne Conway(counsellor to the Trump administration), the vice president, Mike Pence, himself and the rest do not shy away from opportunities to be on CNN's platform. They are very much aware of CNN's stance against the Trump administration but they make very good use of those appearing opportunities to reach out to the other side. I have been around for some time and people like Dr. Tony Aidoo, Dr. Spio Garbrah, Karkra Asamoah etc. do not care about numbers. They themselves are the "numbers". They are seasoned, experienced and intelligent and understand what communication is about. Even in contemporary times, Harna Iddrissu, Mahama Ayariga and the likes make very good use of media platforms when given the opportunity. Every media house has its own political agenda. You just have to recognise that and dance around that agenda when given the opportunity. The problem is Sammy Gyamfi and not Chairman Sefa Kayi. Sammy should be under studying someone by now and not assume the position of communications director of a huge organisation like the NDC. Times have changed; communication is a serious business and must be handled by people who are up to the task. I wish the NDC very well but they have to look sharp intellectually. They have the men but are not being used.
