General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Boadu has scolded the entire leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for accusing the ruling party and the National Identification Authority (NIA) of scheming to rig the 2020 general election.
According to him, the press conference by the opposition party, wherein the NDC sought to accuse the NPP of conniving with the NIA to rig the elections lacks logic.
Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, John Boadu stated; “I want to see from the NDC's evidence why they think that the NPP and NIA are in cahoots to rig the 2020 general elections. Give me one logical sequence that you saw at their press conference that shows that the NPP and NIA want to rig the elections. What has the NIA registration of people in the Eastern Region during the partial lockdown got to do with the New Patriotic Party (NPP)? Does the NPP get 100 percent of vote during elections in the Eastern Region?”
To him, the current crop of NDC leadership is a great disappointment to their members.
“The issue is that the current crop of NDC leadership is the worst ever; they have disappointed their members very well. The reason why I am saying this is that they could not establish any connivance between the NPP and NIA in their press conference,” he chastised.
Touching on the use of Ghana Cards for the new voter’s register and the NDC claims that a lot of Ghanaians will be disenfranchised in that regard, John Boadu accused the opposition party of shooting itself in the foot when it earlier directed all its members to boycott the registration for the Ghana Card.
“ . . the NIA will no matter what go to the stronghold of both the NPP and NDC because from the last election, the NDC had 6 seats in Upper West and the NPP had 5 seats; can you say that place is the stronghold of the NDC? Upper East, they had 12 seats and we had 3 seats and even in that place, will you say that is the stronghold of the NDC? In Northern region, the NPP had 9 seats and the NDC also had 9 seats and in North East, both the NPP and NDC had 3 seats each. It is in Savanna region that the NDC had 6 seats and the NPP had a seat.
" . . and so if you are embarking on such a registration, how can you say you are selectively or randomly registering only the strongholds of the NPP? This defiles logic; there is no sense in it their argument,” he jabbed.

Your name shows exactly the party you should belong. Gimifo!
Aaaah! ka bio n'a kabio. John. The leadership of the NDC both in and out of parliament, errm c0rr-up+ JDM included, are the w0=R$t ever. sans cerveaux, sans conscience, sans intégrité et totalement inutile. Th NDC should know that if you let d1r=+ty money influence your internal elections, you elect 1nc0mpe+tent people to lead you.
I believe John Boadu nowadays combine the Apio he drinks with Tramadol. Of late his utterances suggest so. His position as the Gen Sec of the party and subsequent winning of the elections was just a coincidence but not thru any meritorious achievements. His real test of Gen Sec will be proven on Dec 7. Only Time Will Tell.
John Boadu am very sorry to say this you talk as if Ghana is your own property , we don't talk like that .Ghana belongs to all of us as ghanaians , we must try to accommodate others to fit in as one people your utterances are very poor I'll fitted please grow up else don't come to me again when you are in UK
Is this guy serious? Does he think he's better than Dan Botwe or that Blay is better than Jake? Or maybe he's comparing his team to Afuko/Agyapong?
This is the most ediotic analysis I have ever read. That npp had one or two seats in some regions in the north erase the fact that the north is the stronghold of the NDC? WHAT ***barred word*** ANALYSIS. NDC have one seat in Ashanti region, so is boadu telling us that because of asewase seat NDC has, Ashanti region is no more thier stronghold? Someone who thinks like a class one pupil is telling Ghanaians that NDC has worst leadership ever. He was also saying there was no evidence given by NDC that EC, NIA and government are in cahoots. What a dumb ediot! NDC gave numbers of people the NIA registered in all regions, their style of operation in regions such as sending 1500 machines to other regions and 5000 to Ashanti region only. NDC told us how EC categorically said they wouldn't use the NIA card for registration but would use only the voter identification card but they have now changed their position. EC disregard for calling IPAC meetings etc. Lack of engaging civil society etc. These are all evidence of groups who want to cause mayhem in the country with thier collusion.
If NPP has a general secretary and communications director whose favorite drink is apio, then which party has worse executives ever? Just reflect on this question? Wontumi may not be a national executive but I am sure since he is the chairman for NPP'S stronghold he is involved in everything that goes on in the headquarters. Look at the character of obiri boahene as deputy general secretary and abronye as bono region chairman. These are all leaders in NPP ooooo! The only sensible member of their leadership is Sammy Awuku. This is the plain and indisputable truth. JOHN BOADU, BOABEN ASAMOAH, WONTUMI, ABRONYE, AND OBIRI BOAHENE in your football team, how would such a team have a better leadership than that of NDC. Is it because they talk by heart or what?
That is none of your business, Mr Incompetentt Know ALL
Thanks for your logical analysis on the NIA registration. NDC have no reason to accuse the NIA for the low registered numbers in their so called strong holds because they encouraged their followers not to register. Now they are using the low numbers to justify connivance of NIA with the NPP to rig the elections. what kind of logic is this? Their only intent is to throw this country into chaos. NDC is the worst problem Ghana has, more than covid-19.
Disappointment is very mild... They are dev!lish. Very c0rrupt, selfish and greedy. They do not say the truth.
