The members of the defunct Alliance for Change, organizers of the ‘Kume Preko’ demonstration met a few days ago to mark their 25th anniversary.
Those at the forefront of these protests which also took place in Kumasi and Takoradi were; Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo (Now the President of Ghana); Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobbey (Politician); Kwesi Pratt Jnr (Journalist); Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe (Politician); and Kweku Baako Jnr. (Journalist).
Others were; Akoto Ampaw (Lawyer); Victor Newman (Politician); Kwaku Opoku (Politician); Napoleon Abdulai (Politician); and Stanley Agyiri Blankson (Politician).
However, some of the above-mentioned names could not attend the meeting.
Explaining why some of the members were absent, the Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt Jnr said it wasn't deliberate.
Some were outside the country and others were indisposed.
Kwesi Pratt who was speaking on Peace FM’s morning show 'Kokrokoo' narrated how President Akufo-Addo was not happy with the absence of Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe.

CAN ANY GOOD THING COMES OUT OF CENTRAL REGION EXCLUDING HON. KENNEDY AGYAPONG?KWESI PRATT AND KWEKU M.BAAKO ARE FAILURE TO THE FANTIS BECAUSE THEIR POLITICALLY UNWORTHY AND BO-G-OS.I WISH AND IN MY OPINION THEY STAY AWAY FROM GHANA POLITICS.
I firmly believe that, it was Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe who resigned from the movement citing personal reasons.
