Deputy National Communications Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kweku Boahen, has urged members of the ruling government to be truthful in their 2020 manifesto and not repeat the lies told in the 2016 handbook.
According to him, the NPP government in power had the chance to convince Ghanaians to vote them into power in 2016 but they have failed in delivering the promises they made that led to their victory.
He explained further that the ruling government does not have the skills and zeal to embark on developmental projects like the previous NDC government led by former President John Dramani Mahama did, the reason why they have fulfilled only 86 out of the 631 promises made in their 2016 manifesto.
"NPP is a manifesto poor party, always performing below promises made in their manifesto and needs not to be given a second chance to remain in government," he said on UTV's 'Adekye Nsroma' programme.
Kweku Boahen mentioned that the detestable part of this government is how they have destroyed a lot of private businesses but have also increased taxes yet they claim to have promoted the private sector

KWEKU BOAHEN NEEDS PUBLICITY IN GHANA POLITICS-WHY NDC PARTY IS FULL OF SUCH PERSONALITIES ?NDC PARTY AND JDM,s DEMOCRATIC GAMES IS DEPRIVING GHANA,s FROM DEVELOPING.
Kwaku Galamsey Boahen too much atwemonomu soup and fufu is killing your mind gradually. You have never make sense in your statements. Less than six months to general elections, your party has not produced manifesto that can give alternative to the ruling government. Instead of addressing that worrying situation, you are talking about the ruling government who is delivering her promises to the extend that they are doing things they never promised.
ANYBODY CAN OPEN HIS MOUTH WIDE AND TALK ANY HOW. ANYWAY, THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF DEMOCRACY BUT THE NDC MUST SPEAK WITH FACTS AND FIGURES AND STOP THROWING DUST INTO OUR EYES.
