The NDC's priorities are misplaced, according to the Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako.
Kweku Baako has asked the largest opposition party in the country to get their priorities right after they claim the ruling government had fulfilled only 14 percent of its campaign promises.
14% score charitable
NDC had scored the Akufo-Addo-led administration 14 percent on the fulfillment of its 2016 campaign promises.
According to them, only 86 out of the 631 campaign promises made by the government have been delivered.
Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency in the Volta Region, Hon Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa says they were even charitable and that the actual figure is 13.6%.
“We observed that only 86 promises have been delivered out of the 631 and if you do the arithmetic and divide the 86 by the 631, what you will get is 13.6% and so we have been generous to gift them 14%; we added 0.4% to it by rounding the figure up,” he indicated.
Padded figures
Kweku Baako in a discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', said the figures put out by the NDC were padded and deliberate; adding if this is the opposition party's message five months to an election; they should 'watch out'.
"What is your target or what did you want to achieve? If this is your message 5 months to an election, watch out . . . what was your goal, what was your target for that exposure? You are a political party, you must have a strategy especially with 5 months to an election…" he stated.
Fulfilling All Promises Mission Impossible
Kweku Baako also noted that it is impossible for any political party to fulfill all of its electoral promises. He has asked the NDC to do an introspection and ask themselves if they were able to achieve all of its promises.
"No political party has been able to fulfil all promises; there's none. The NDC should ask themselves if they were able to achieve achieve all their promises in their manifesto? he rhetorically asked.

are you saying the expose is a misplaced focus? when you promised and failed the people, you call it a misplaced focus..wait for the 2020 election to decide if this is a misplaced focus
I told my friends the same things few days ago. NDC lacks strategic leadership but have sharp teeth leaders. NPP has done well and delivered most of their promises. Free SHS is more than all the promises NDC delivered over 8 years. Education is the most permanent infrastructure one can dream of. It stays with you until you die. Look at their opposition to Voter Register. NDC knows they cannot stop it but look at time they wasting on it.....lack of strategic leadership.
It is misplaced message to sick mind representing government.
