IKwesi Pratt Jnr has given the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) four options to choose from after losing a case at the Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday.
The Supreme Court on Thursday gave its ruling in a case filed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against the Electoral Commission over its decision to compile a new voters’ register.
The Apex Court unanimously ruled in favour of the EC giving it the go ahead to compile a new voters’ register using the recently passed C.I. 126.
Speaking to this during a panel discussion on Peace FM’s morning show ‘Kokrokoo’, the Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, gave the NDC and other stakeholders who oppose the compilation of the new register the following options:
-Boycott the elections
-Participate in the election under protest
-Fully participate despite misgivings; accept the Supreme Court decision and participate
-Go back to the Supreme Court for review

Decision not etched in stone
Kwesi Pratt says the Supreme Court’s decision is not cast in stone and therefore it is the right of any Ghanaian to seek for review.
“Every Ghanaian has the right to ask for review after a Supreme Court decision. The decision of the seven-member panel is not cast in stone. The NDC and other parties who took the issue to court can ask for review…” he added.

Massa, your association with Mahamas has clouded your objectivity.
This NDC mole has no credibility........ Remember no one is taking you serious any more.
Mr. know-it-all Kwesi Pratt! He knows everything from law to economy to medicine aka "we read the same literature on covid-19" etc. Masa ko da kraa wae! Too much talking, see nothing good (about npp) and hear nothing wrong (about ndc). Dishonest senior citizen. Time is running fast, straighten up your integrity and please the Lord, thank you.
NDC AND THEIR LIKES WILL GO FOR THE SECOND OPTION. THEY WILL GO INTO THE ELECTION WITH PROTEST. THAT WILL PROVIDE THEM AN EXCUSE TO EXPLAIN THEIR DEFEAT IN DECEMBER 2020. NDC IS NOT LIKE NPP WHO WOULD HAVE GONE FOR THE 3RD OPTION. NPP WOULD HAVE PUT EVERYTHING BEHIND THEM AND WORK HARD TO WIN. AFTER THE SC ELECTION RULING IN 2013 NPP FOCUSED TO WIN AND THEY WORKED HARD TO WIN RESOUNDINGLY THE SUBSEQUENT 2016 ELECTION. THAT IS NOT THE SPIRIT AND MENTALITY OF NDC. THEY WOULD FOREVER KEEP COMPLAINING AND TELL LIES TO THEIR FOLLOWERS TO KEEP THEM CONFUSED AND INDECISION.
boycott the election and subsequent one till 2036.
