Rape is one of the sensitive issues that one needs to be extra careful when talking about since any slight slip of the tongue could spark agitations.
Lots of rape victims never want to be reminded of how some unscrupulous persons overpowered them to satisfy their libido.
Aside rape being criminal, it is one of the most painful experiences in life.
Some rapists end up in jail while others able to go scot free because their victims either keep mute or are silenced with threats.
In view of this, seasoned journalist, Kweku Baako has devised a better technique women can use to ward off potential rapists.
Kweku Baako has advised that any woman who is forced into sex should locate the testicles of the man and squeeze them till he loses strength to accomplish his mission.
" I am advising the ladies out there if anybody wants to rape you, squeeze his balls. The incentive will be totally out of the way," he said on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo'.
His counsel, comes on the back of a similar balls-squeezing account captured in the ''Working With Rawlings'' book authored by Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi, a former Minister of Foreign Affairs and former Minister of Local Government and Rural Development between years 1990 and 2001, detailing his relationship with the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), former President Jerry John Rawlings.
In the controversial book, Mr Rawlings is alleged to have squeezed the testicles of a former member of the NDC, Bede Ziedeng for opposing the candidature of Prof John Evans Atta Mills to lead the party in 2002.
"Bede Ziedeng and others had formed a human shield to protect dignitaries going into the Trade Fair Site. As Rawlings was going in, the crowd moved closer to see him and cheer him on. This made it nearly impossible to see whatever was going on. So Rawlings took advantage of the situation. He held Bede Ziedeng’s testicles, squeezed them hard and left them in record time. This caused Bede Ziedeng to faint immediately. He was taken away and given attention until he recovered. An unperturbed Rawlings accessed the hall and the proceedings went on. Mr Ziedeng later reported Rawlings to some leading members of the NDC, including Prof Ahwoi. When Rawlings was confronted on the matter, he merely laughed it off. But the incident nearly led to Mr Ziedeng leaving the party for good," Prof Ahwoi recounted in his book.

Having this information would definitely save many women from the trauma of sexual assault and domestic abuse, and I will be teaching this to my own girls when they reach the right age. But what exactly is the right age to pass on this information? My husband has access to the curricula of schools in the EU & UK and all girls-only and most mixed private schools teach this to girls aged 12 ie. just after puberty. Government run schools are being more cautious however, as there have been increasing reports of girls abusing their new-found power over boys. Reports of injuries to the testicles of boys have been reported in Ireland, Scotland, Spain, Italy, and in eastern Europe. There are too many attacks on teenage girls to leave it until adulthood, and girls pre puberty would probably lack the hand strength to do this effectively. It would be interesting to hear the opinions of other parents on this subject. Anita
During my first year at university a man dragged me into some bushes and tried to rape me. He was very strong and held me down with one hand around my neck, ripping off my knickers with the other hand. He undid his trousers, but as he struggled to pull them down I saw my chance and grabbed for his testicles. He saw what I was trying to do and jerked away, but I managed to get a grip on one ball and squeezed it as if my life depended on it, which it may well have done. Expecting him to punch me, I shielded my face with my free hand, but the punches never came. He actually seemed to be paralysed by the pain, able to do no more than paw at my hand and make a pitiful whimpering noise. As I kept squeezing, yanking and twisting his ball, hell fell sideways off of me and tried to curl up. I maintained my grip until I had got to my feet and ran off towards the dormitories. I hammered on the first door and three big guys appeared. When I explained what had happened they asked me to show them where I was attacked while someone called campus security. Incredibly, although several minutes had gone by, the man was still there on the ground, literally writhing in obvious agony! I never was told what damage I had caused him, but I know he went to prison for a long time. The thing is, I had taken a self defence course at high school, and nothing I had been taught would have helped me in this situation; it just happened too quickly for me to react. I only knew to do what I did because I grew up with two brothers! I just cannot understand why they don't teach this to all girls at school. If all girls of age 11 or 12 were taught how to do this all over the world, it would surely practically put an end to rape and sexual assault.
