Dean of the School of Performing Arts of the University of Ghana, Legon, Professor Kofi Agyekum has advised Ghanaians not to allow themselves to be used to wreak chaos in the upcoming general elections.
Speaking to sit-in host Nana Yaw Kesseh on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo', Professor Kofi Agyekum, popularly known as Opanyin Agyekum bemoaned the culture of electoral violence in the country.
He reminded Ghanaians of the need for peace stressing "Ghana is a mix of people from different ethnic groups which have mingled to become one people''.
He called on the citizenry not to resist being used by politicians to cause mayhem in the elections but go into the elections to cast their ballots in peace.
"We are one people created in the wisdom of God. So, elections shouldn't divide us. Any person who will do that is a nation wrecker," he stated.
