They can't. Greed, selfishness, arrogance, self centered, empty pride, etc etc will not allow them. The kufour NPP is totally different from this one. Under kufour the NPP was vibrant and active for 8 years thus the 49% lead Akuffo Addo secured in elections 2008 meaning the NPP was still the popular choice of Ghanaians. Unde kufour the NPP was a party of hopes, every Body had something to do. The appointees never for once forgot that the party placed them where ever they were and therefore kept looking back to ensure the grassroots were following. Today's NPP appointees both in government and party are just moving, no time to look back. By the time they look back, they may not find anybody. The free fall of party executives in the just ended constituency elections is a warning to the executives at the top. The fact that your children alone cannot queue to vote for you to 'break the 8' should tell you other people's children matter. Interestingly some appointees have no biological children of 18 years and above and they are the loudest with the 'break the 8' mantra. Question; who's 18 year olds are you counting on to break the 8?
