Renowned Journalist, Kwesi Pratt Jnr., has criticized Henry Kokofu for politicizing the Green Ghana project.
Executive Director of Ghana's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Henry Kwabena Kokofu sought to compare planting projects of other administrations and heads of state and concluded that President Akufo-Addo stood tall.
The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, however, disagreed with the EPA boss insisting that other Presidents did equally well.
He believes the Green Ghana project is a national effort and should not be politicized.
Both were speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' program.
Green Ghana project
The second edition of the Green Ghana Project was launched on March 1, 2022, under the theme: “Mobilising for a Greener Future.”
The target is to plant 20 million trees across the country this year.

kokofu is a ***barred word*** liar, Ashanti goldfields corporation obuasi planted teak before kokofu was born. it's becoming clear to me that almost all npp executives are liars.
Let Kokofu tell us what percentage of trees planted last year with taxpayers money survived. Stop politizing national issues sponsored by state funds. Did NPP financed the program with party funds? Did the party even have resources on its own? If we’re to audit the program today, you will see how much has been stolen just for the sake of green Ghana. When there’s a program like Green Ghana, that’s when politicians steal state funds. I wish one day, a civilian leader will come and retrieve all state funds stolen by politicians and consificate their assets and give it back to the state, like Rawlings did.
