Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has said that, as it stands now, he has decided he will not contest again as the Member of Parliament for the Suame constituency.
According to him, even though he has made up his mind not to contest, he is not fixated on that decision, as it is only a madman who does not change his mind.
“…so many people have asked not to talk about the issue including the national party. We are discussing it. As of today, I said I won’t contest again."
When asked by the host if there is a possibility he may change his mind, he said, “it is only a madman who cannot change his mind but as of today, I have not changed my mind."
Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, is one of the longest-serving members of parliament.
He joined the House as a member of Old Tafo Suame on the ticket of the NPP in 1996 but currently represents Suame Constituency after the constituency was split.
The current Majority Leader is one of the more experienced MPs with a lot of knowledge of the operations of parliament.

Greedy bastard
Hahaaaa, even mad men do sometimes change their minds. We were in Ghana here when a ***barred word*** changed his mind by breaking loose from a so called healing prayer camp to defeat a whole police inspector together with his surbodinate who was holding an AK 47 assault rifle with a catapult and a wooden stick. But for a change of mind on the part of the ***barred word***, he would have continued to stay at the azaaaa prayer camp. Again it was an immgration officer who on his way from work saw a crowd gathered nearby and chanting, he changed his mind by deciding to get closer to see what was happening. The brought to practice what he was taught as a recruit i.e. " thinking outside the box" by snatching the assault rifle from the madman, lured him outside the crowd and shot him in the leg to slow his advancement . But for his change of mind the 2 " abaaiii" would have been cooling in the mortuary freezer by now. This is enough evidence that change of mind sometimes delivers positive results. If i may ask, what does a "police inspector" inspects to be ranked as "inspector" only for a madman to use a catapult/ wooden stick to floor him and his "yes sir sir" corporal?
