Former National Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Said Sinare, has hit hard at the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) describing them as Ghana's biggest mistake.
While receiving some stalwarts of the Muslim fraternity and Faisal Kumilah, a renowned Hausa musician to his Labone residence on Saturday, the NDC's Zongo President called on Ghanaians to outrightly reject the NPP on December 7th 2024.
The former high commissioner also urged frustrated NPP members to leave the party because of “its deplorable performance that plunged Ghana into a state of sorry and disarrays,” saying the "mass defection from the ruling party across the country signalled the coming interment of the NPP.”
He described Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as a complete disappointment who cannot represent the future of hope and brighter aspirations that Ghanaians look forward to after helping President Nana Addo to collapse every basic structure of Ghana given to them in 2016.
"It is important to stress once again that the 2024 general elections, more than anything else, is a referendum about the scorecard of the NPP and Ghanaians should not reward their failure with even a day more on the saddle," he added.

@Kissi, I don't think I have attempted to insult anyone, I wouldn't do that for any reason. Secondly, I do not want to believe that "you're insulting my intelligence" by calling me NDC in disguise. If I am an NDC member or loyalist, I don't know what will make me hide it or disguise myself.Thirdly, I didn't presume that Nana Addo's government hasn't done anything, of course they have done something, especially for FSHS, regardless of it's present flaws, in my opinion, it's one of a very few projects undertaken by all governments in the 4th republic that is underpinned by a strong ideology/philosophy and so we must appreciate Nana for it, we will see it's benefits in the future. That notwithstanding, the harm that has been caused by this government is too huge to over look, as someone who has a personal endearment for Nans, I wish those things never happened under him. Just be frank with yourself, has Nana delivered what the nation expected from him in particular? No one is assuming that Ghana should have been changed overnight, but certainly not for it to retrogressed in many areas, such that the average Ghanaian is now doing everything to leave the country to wherever habitable. Bawumia has been fully involved in all the mess, we still don't know where he got the excess of 100s of millions of Ghana cedis to pay to delegates, so why should he be trusted, moreover when he and the NPP had won elections mainly because he labelled someone as incompetent and corrupt.
Some people like Asiedu would never see the massive projects this gov't has done, simply because, perhaps he's an NDC in disguised, and it's normal...but don't insult the intelligence of those who are commenting. Any intelligent and informed Ghanaian would appreciate what has been done so far....Bawumia toaso!
It's very possible that it's one person writing in favour of NPP with different names. Politicians are very tricky and we know that now. I do not believe NDC is desirable choice, but from what we have seen under Nana Addos government, the wisest thing Ghanaians must do is to vote them out by all means, otherwise they'll forever live to regret it. Bawumia is never someone that we must even consider, if one day the NPP gets a credible person to lead them, then they can be considered. At least we know that the NPP under Kuffour is very significantly different from the current NPP, shameIess old men and women who do not care about legacy or the future of the nation
Last time i heard from this hog, he said if NDC looses 2020 elections he would not do politics again, so what has happened? These NDC unintelligent swines think Ghanaians are ***barred word***!
Looking at the massive projects and initiative of this gov't,Akufo Addo is the best president in the fourth republic.I challenge anybody to pick sectors of gov't one by one and look at what this gov't has done.I blame Kojo Oppong NKrumah, who's suppose to inform the public.
You see, we can go on and on to make the NDC realise that the Akufo-Addo government is going through hard times, but it has performed massively and nobody can take it away from the NPP government. Just look at the tourism sector, it is booming. It didn't just fall from heaven, it took good leadership to achieve that, period!
The NDC continues to live in a fuuuuul's paradise because it has no ideas and no ideologically based policies on which to campaign. It campaigns ineptly on vile propaganda and exaggerates lies about its opponents to garner votes. The boys with sharp teeth type of opposition politics is long overdue because it assumes that the electorate is illiterate, uninformed and not very intelligent to make sense of anything. So, repeating lies in their ears becomes the truth to win their votes. They fail to appreciate that the Akufo-Addo government has embarked on developmental projects, indeed policy-based interventions that the electorate recognises and appreciates. And I bet that breaking the 8 is inevitable and uncompromising for the Ghanaian electorate. Thanks to modern technology that allows us to see most of these projects online.
Some of you guys are bitter that almost every young girl/boy in Ghana is having education to be able to compete with your childten. Before, the FREE SHS, your children alone were getting scholarships. Now it is not so. People whose parents have not seen cocoa before, held CMB scholarships. Shame on you!
You talk like shiiiit!
NPP brought all major national interventions like metro mass , national health insurance, national identification card, free senior high education, capitation grant, one constituency one Ambulance, continuous keeping our electricity on etc. For roads construction, don't go there. So tell Ghanaians what your party has done which are greater than or equal to these. If NPP is a mistake for Ghana, then we need more of such mistakes than yours
