Award-winning gospel musician, Mercy Twum-Ampofo, popularly known as Ohemaa Mercy has urged Christians out there to desist from putting all their eggs in one basket because it is a move that can be very dangerous at the end.
She gave this important advice when she was sharing the sad story of how she almost died some years ago because of the ‘wickedness’ of one man of God. Speaking on Agyenkwa FM’s entertainment review show, Ohemaa Mercy told B Ice that a pastor they ministered at his church told her that he was going to use the money, which could save her life after she had some complication with her pregnancy, to purchase a television for his children.
The ‘Aseda’ hitmaker revealed that surprisingly enough throughout her nine-month pregnancy she was always on her feet at the church of this man of God ministering songs to the delight of everyone in the church but still he didn’t have pity on her.
In all of this, Ohemaa Mercy’s simple message is that Christians should not be too dependent on people because if pastors can fail, then anybody can fail them.
Mercy Twum-Ampofo currently promoting her latest and powerful album ‘My Set Time, her seventh studio album.
The album has songs like: “Onim Me (God knows Me), Testify, Anoyie (The Answer), Favour, Onyame Beye (God Will Do It), and a few others and it features sensational musicians and award-winning sound engineers, Nacee and Morris Baby Face.

This is so true. When they have to use you to sing in their churches you are all important,Right after church close you are forgotten and if u fall into trouble they will place their phone on busy tone for u. God have mercy. We should learn to trust only in God and worship God and not man
I love people who are real and your story is a lesson to me and it has sat right on my mind. We can't place our trust in me like the Bible says. Bless u Ohemaa you are an inspiration
Read 2nd Corinthians 11 verses 22, 23 and understand what the bible says about Christianity. Have u people been reading the bible at all? Christianity a religion has nothing to do with God The Creator of heaven and earth. The reason some of them are so wicked.
