ZOHZOH, a Ghanaian international afrobeat band based in New Zealand, alongside Agbe Cultural Dance-Drumming group, will organise a concert in Accra on September 21, in honour of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President.
Mr Yaw Boateng, Leader of the group who made this known to Ghana News Agency, in Accra on Tuesday, said the event to take place at Republic Bar at Osu in Accra aims at celebrating the birthday of Osagyefo- “Africa’s most powerful and prominent president ever”.
The concert will focus on the unity of Africans both at home and in the Diaspora.
“It will also serve as a platform for the younger generations to learn about past prominent African leaders and their ideologies, “Mr Boateng said.
