Life indeed has not dealt well with long-serving Ghanaian actors and actresses as many having lived all their lives in toil and poverty.
This is not different from ace Akan Drama actor Kwame Peace known in real life Kwame Raynolds situation after thieves stole his Taxi which serves as a source of livelihood for his family.
Explaining how this sad incident happened, Kwame Peace who is considered as one of the most sought after actor of his time, who starred in the Hit Akan Drama Series “Adasa” on GBC TV said:
“Hmm, things have been so very rough for me so a friend of mine bought a taxi for me, which I was driving and making a living out of it. There is no parking space in my house so, I parked it at the road side just infront of my house at Awoshie Market area only to wake up in the morning to surprisingly realise that armed robbers had stolen it,” he told Razzonline.
The veteran actor Kwame Peace sadly continued that,”normally because I park the car at the road side, I always removed the car battery in order for it to be difficult for anybody who tries to steal it… but because they were armed robbers ,they stole the car without the car battery.i have six children and life has been extremely difficult for me ever since the taxicab was stolen”.
Kwame Peace who started his acting profession around 1986/87 stressed that he has since reported the matter to the Anyaa police station but to no avail.
He added: “,I’m not a lazy man ..i schooled at Emit Electronics so before i started acting, I established my own electronic company, but now that am not doing anything for a living; I am also pleading with companies or individuals to employ me because I’m really suffering”.

You never brought me happiness so you can never take away my happiness. What you brought me was one wahala after wahala, one trouble after trouble and those are what you have taken away hahahaha. To say that I am finally HAPPY is a gross understatement. I wish all the best😀😀😀

Our elders say that a GGOAT THAT HAS MANY OWNERS SLEEPS OUTSIDE. A word to the wise.... Keep increasing the number of baskets! I have never been happier. Opportunity calls but once.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all other things shall be added unto u. You are not finished!hardships n trials are part of the faith tests! Seek broad personal finance advice and investment advice in order not to put all your eggs in one basket! Trust in the lord
Are you the only stranger in Ghana who does not know Mahama is 'Father Christmas?' Call him and he will shove some money into your pockets, but mind you, you have to get a receipt from him, because probity and accountability is coming, sooner or later.
Living in poverty NOW? was he rich before? because i may be wrong but i don't recall him ever being rich. Its not as if he was earning Hollywood salary here. This is just sensationalism.
But this is not abject poverty...he has a roof over his head, look at his house you have a kettle and all....My house was not this nice growing up but we didnt consider ourselves in abject poverty. Ghanaians taste has gone high oo Since you are an electrician you have a self-employable craft...use it.
@kiki & peace,faya burn u allllllllllllll
