The Ghana U17 must beat Congo on Wednesday to revive their hopes of progression in the 2013 Africa Junior Championships in Morocco.
The Black Starlets suffered a heavy 6-1 defeat at the hands of rivals Nigeria in the opening Group B fixture on Sunday.
The heavy thrashing threatens to breakdown the young Ghanaians who all passed the mandatory age-cheating MRI test before the start of the tournament.
Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin must inspire and motivate his young lads to get a victory out of Wednesdays game against Congo who drew 1-1 with Cote dIvoire in the other opening Group B fixture. A defeat against the Congolese will see Ghana bundle out of the competition after just the first round stage.
It will also see the Black Starlets fail to qualify for the U17 World Cup to be staged later in the year in the UAE making a win on Wednesday even more imperative. Group leaders Nigeria will take on Cote dIvoire in the other game of the group on Wednesday.
