Ghana striker Opoku Agyemang will not try out at French side Sochaux, the club have announced.
The 22-year-old was expected to be assessed by the Ligue 1 outfit and possibly sign a deal before the transfer deadline at the end of the month.
But a last-minute hitch means the Qatar-based winger will not travel to France to achieve his dream of playing in Europe.
Opoku Agyemang will not be tested as originally planned, a Sochaux statement read.
Agyeman has been itching for a move to Europe since moving from Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold in 2007.
He first joined Tunisian side CS Sfaxien and then moved to the oil-rich Gulf state in a 2.6 million euro deal.
