The Naples-based club have sent their sporting director to France to hold talks with the Ligue 1 outfit over the Ghanaian winger.
The sporting director of Napoli Riccardo Bigon will meet Olympique Marseille today to make an offer for Ghanaian talisman Andre Ayew, Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal.
The Italian Serie A side were bent on signing Ayew during the winter transfer window but an injury halted the move as Ayew was sidelined for three months.
Napoli manager Rafael Benitez is a keen admirer of the Ghana international after grabbing a double against his side in a 3-2 Uefa Champions League game in Italy.
Ayew, who could be the next captain of Marseille, has a year left on his contract.
