Ghana defender Harrison Afful has finally joined UAE side Al Waahda. The Club confirmed on Wednesday.
The versatile defender signed for Waahda after failing to extend his contract with Tunisian giants Esperance.
Afful who was left out of Esperance’s Champions League squad is expected to be unveiled by the end of the week.
The 27-year-old will thus join his countryman and Black Stars teammate Asamoah Gyan in the UAE top-flight.
The former Asante Kotoko right-back had a successful five-year stint with Esperance helping them to win the domestic League title and CAF Champions League trophy.
He also played a key role at the 2015 Cup of Nations by helping the Black Stars to clinch silver at the continental showpiece.
