The manager of the Hoops has indicated he is ready to push the Ghana international midfielder to defense.
Celtic boss Rony Deila has revealed Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso will be played at left-back against Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership.
Deila gave the hint Friday evening ahead of the fixture.
Wakaso, 24, recently returned to Glasgow after playing for Ghana at the Africa Cup of Nations, and is currently on loan at Celtic from Russian side Rubin Kazan.
Despite arriving with a fairly big reputation having impressed in Spain with Espanyol and Villarreal, but has failed to make an impact at Celtic so far.
The speedy left winger who can also play in central midfield has become the forgotten man at Celtic, playing just 10 games in all competitions this season and scoring only once in an underwhelming loan spell.
