Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom was sent off in Boavistas 1-0 defeat to Paos de Ferreira in the Portuguese Pimiera Liga on Monday night.
The Ghanaian international did not have the best of nights after receiving his marching orders in the 53rd minute.
The right-back received two yellow cards in the space of 60 seconds having dazzled throughout his time on the pitch.
The 24-year-old went into the referees books in the 52nd minute before receiving another card a minute later after a second bookable offense to leave the home team with 10-men.
Inkooms exit seemed to have had an effect on his team as they conceded a goal in the dying embers of the game after Paos de Ferreira midfielder Diogo Jota scored to secure the three points for the visitors.
The former Basel defender will hence miss Boavistas League fixture against Acadmica on Sunday.
