English Championship side Aston Villa are interested in signing Ghanaian defender Jeffery Schlupp in the January Transfer window, according to a report by the Sun.
The player is likely to switch to second-tier football in England having struggled with regular playing time at Leicester City.
Villa are expected to cough out £12million for enable them sign the strapping left-wing back.
Schlupp’s move to West Bromwich fell through after Leicester Coach Claudio Ranieri refused to release the player during the summer transfer.
The 23-year-old who seemed to have lost favor with the Italian manager could join Ghanaian compatriot Jordan Ayew and Albert Adomah in January.
The player has only made 1 start for the Club in the English Premier League this season.
The Ghanaian international was a regular for Liecester City until he suffered an injury which saw him losing his starting place to Christian Fushs
