The Power Distribution Services (PDS) has started a load-shedding programme while technicians attempt to resolve the issue with regards to the recent power outages.
Even though the Ministry of Energy has assured Ghanaians that within 12 days power will be restored across the country, there are repeated calls to have a schedule for everyone to know when they will have power.
Public Relations Officer for PDS, William Boateng in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi said the Power Distribution Services (PDS), Volta River Authority (VRA) and the Public Utilities and Regulatory Commission (PURC) have decided to issue a timetable after a meeting on Thursday.
According to him, per the outcome of the meeting, parts of the nation will experience power outages from 6am to 6pm each day.
Below is a statement from PDS indicating which areas will go off today.

even their incompetency is showing in the time table..is that how a load shedding time table is drafted during the time of dumsor under the NDC..like seriously, what is that piece of SH11111T got to do with time table..
When the Pilot has no clue, the plane crashes. Everyone dies. Should we allow NPP the destroyers to collapse every good thing before we kick them out? A word to a wise is enough. Clue-less Govt.
I'm laughing to the NDC Headquarters. NDC solved Dumsor before NPP came in. Now, NPP has destroyed everything. From Banks to ECG to Education. What is wrong with NANA ADDO and BAWUMIA? Let's check them before it gets too late.
The truth NDC has been saying has come out at last. This SuperInCom-petent NPP GOVT has no idea what they are doing. Now they are giving us a timetable. N-O-N***barred word***. If you can'y manage the economy, allow NDC to come take over.
The truth is just like PREGNANCY. No matter how hard you press it, it will finally show!
Ao! Agyarko!
I HAVE A QUESTION, WHO WILL BUY A GENERATOR WEN THERE'S CONSTANT SUPPLY OF ELECTRICITY?? THEY FIRST SAID THERE'S NO DUMSOR AND NOW WE HAVE A DUMSOR TIME TABLE. GHANAIANS SHOULD BE WISE AND STOP THIS NDC/NPP FIGHT COS THESE BIG MEN DRINK, EAT AND LAUGH TOGETHER IN SECRET PLACES. NOW LOOK, IMPORT DUTY IS REDUCED, MORE GENERATORS WILL BE IMPORTED FOR THOSE WHO CANT STAND DUMSOR TO PURCHASE ONLY FOR THEM TO MAKE MONEY. I THINK MOST OF U WILL UNDERSTANT WHY TRUMP CONSIDERS OUR CONTINENT TO BE A ***barred word*** HOLE. OUR LEADERS DONT PUT PROPPER MEASURES IN PLACE TO HELP THE ORDINARY CITIZEN MAKING THE RICH ENJOY AT THE EXPENSE OF THE POOR. GOD HAVE MERCY ON US ALL.
