Accra Hearts of Oak have named Dan Tettevi as goalkeepers� trainer of the club with immediate effect.
Tettevi, a former player of the club replaces Abukari Damba, who parted ways with the club last Friday.
A statement from the club copied to GNA Sports was however silent on the details of engagement of the new goalkeepers trainer.
The relatively unknown Tettevi spent eight years with the Phobians in the 1980�s and was the first choice goalie when the club reached the semi final of the defunct African Cup Winners�Cup in 1982.
He holds a certificate in Basic Coaching and cut his coaching teeth with the junior side of Heart of Lions� in 1999 before moving on to Mampong-based Pras FC where he was mentored by Sam Amarteifio .
Tettevi also had stints with Network F.C, an Accra-based football academy as well as former premiership campaigners, Zaytuna.
Meanwhile, Team Manager Patrick Madjitey has been re-assigned to the position of Logistics Officer whilst Nat Ofosu, has his role re-christened �Welfare Officer.�
The Phobians endured a torrid time during the first halve of the season bagging 15 points from same number of games.
