The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has assured special voters who were not able to vote both on Thursday, December 1 and Sunday, December 4, that they can vote on December 7.
"You cannot get everything 100%; there will be shortfalls . . . there is nothing like blame-game. Your names will be in the register on Wednesday, December 7. It is never true that automatically special voters names have been removed from the system. Once you were not able to vote and your name was not in the special voters' list, your name will be in the main register," Eric Kofi Dzakpasu, Communication Director, Electoral Commission, told Kwami Sefa Kayi in an interview on Monday morning.
Special Voting exercise was rocked with numerous cases of missing names of voters on December 1, forcing political parties and the Commission to agree on a second day for the exercise. The story of the second day which was on Sunday, December 4, 2016 was no different from the first day as more people could still not find their names.

So what is the sense in doing the special voting if it would take 3 days (1st,4th & 7th December) to do it... It is not true that nothing is 100%. If 100% is not achievable, the value 100% would not be in existence or mentioned in the first place. The fact that you did not achieve it does not mean it does not exist. Yes, it is hard to achieve but still achievable. Your incompetence and unwillingness to learn produces more mistakes that make it hard to get anywhere near achieving even 49%
So, Mrs. Osei in this case how do you stop someone who has already voted either on Dec. 1st or 4th from voting on the 7th? This is not good enough this is a sign of incompetence. You don't know what you are doing.
The Chief Justice was right by saying if we do not take care the current crop of this Electoral commissioners will plant this country into chaos. They are over bloating what they called Special. They must be careful because DEC,7 is a day of LIBERATION. And the change will blow and sweep NDC and EC like TSUNAMI
Am asking the EC if u compile list of security services and they were not able to vote then who are the people who voted on the 1st and 4th. this is the rigging machinery that Hon Ken talk about. Pls NPP polling agents watch out ooh
Isn't that why they were supposed to vote early? So that on the D day there will be adequate security in he country. I smell a fish-stank umbrella!
With the latest release of EO deal, MAHAMA will likely go to jail. No presidential immunity will cover him, because he did it in a capacity as a vice president. MV Embreau deal too is there.
Clearly the EC is confused. Why organize and extended special voting day on Sunday that produced similar disappointment to voters as it did on Thursday if the EC knew that they could also vote on the 7th December without issue? Something does not sound right here? This Election process is going to be a complete clusterf*ck on electionday come Wednesday. The incompetence that we have been mentioning for months will be displayed for all to see.
