Zimbabwe's state broadcaster has banned programmes by so-called "prosperity prophets", reports the private Daily News paper.
It quotes the head of radio at Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), Albert Chekayi, as saying he has temporarily suspended such broadcasts while he investigates listeners' complaints.
Prosperity prophets preach about the "prosperity gospel", which links wealth to Christianity.
They say the stronger one's faith and the more one gives to the church, the more wealth one will ultimately receive from God.
Such clerics have been critisised for making money out of poor people.

that is true, Ghana is the only country where you will see people sitting in church every day, aah ba
this is the best step for the nation, they should go and work. not church because these prayers does not answer any problems. problem solving is determining for every individual, through hard working, planning, management, advising and so on. people should know every one is respondsible for his or her action, planing, and so on, . we need this bold decision in Ghana. if you go to europe every one is working, not church, because church does not put food on table, this is what Ghanaian Christain should know. thank you.
They are all false prophets the bible talks about. None of the prophets in the Bible lived like them. When they use occ~ultic means to enter the metaphysical world, they turn around to tell us , they went to the spiritual world. The s~piritual world is controlled by God and he decides who to allow entry.By their demonic practice, they dont qualify for invitation by God. Please be wise and study the word of God well and dont follow them to hell. They have abandoned message of salvation and pursuing their personal desires.
